Totally understand... My hubby would say the same but lately I have been getting rid of some so I am trying to pair down to styles I will carry a long time... And this shape is classic IMO and not trendy. But another bag is another bag when you've already got over 30 (me)!!

It's cool.. You still have the one to enjoy! :)

So glad to see this thread. I just got one of these domed satchels at TJ Maxx. Mine is white; I loved the white color for summer and the structure. They do look like LV Alma but it's not a knockoff, real leather, made in Italy, I figured, why not? It was originally $150 at TJ Maxx, then got knocked down to $99. I wanted it the moment I saw it but kept putting it off for one reason or another. After five or six trips to the store I finally left with it. The last white one there. :roflmfao: It was destiny, I tell ya!

It seems well made and I'm in love!

I was at TJ Maxx the other day and bought a red and the black one. I also got another black for my mother- in- law. I was concerned a little bit about it's resemblance to Alma, but then the bag is saffiano leather and made very well for that price, so who cares.

Congrats and thanks for the info on the type of leather. I knew it was leather but not familiar with the type. I thought it was similar to lv epi but epi has a "wood grain" pattern look to me which these bags do not have that pattern. Thanks and enjoy your bags! :)

Exactly - the Epi leather is totally different.

I like the durability of the Safiano leather. I have a Prada Lux in Papaya and I tell you nothing shows.

I can't wait to carry my hunter green Pulicati. Even my hubby likes it.
