I really like that she did something so different and borrowed one of the Queen's gowns from 1962. Very smart choice, given the times and how many are suffering right now. Nothing OTT or extravagant . . . well, OK, the tiara is Cartier and extravagant but it's not like it was commissioned for the wedding. Love the flowers too, they are spectacular.

In light of Covid, Prince Andrew's gutter reputation and her grandparents' advanced ages, Beatrice did her wedding right. She scaled it way back to very few people and looked very happy. I like the dusted off tiara and vintage dress taken out of mothballs idea, and there was no bridezilla drama. Just a happy bride. It can be done!

It’s not even in need of a dusted off, the Queen has regularly worn the fringe tiara since her wedding. It’s one of the five (..? ish) tiaras in her tiara rotation.
It is an enormous special gesture from her that she has passed on a tiara she still actively uses and one can argue has a great emotional attachment to, as it was gifted to her by her own grandmother for her wedding.

Exactly. It was in the vault. Reuse and all. lol

These photos are very filtered, Instagram style. I want more detail. That dress is fabulous.
