I kindly request that all members participating in the MM and Harry thread dial back the vile rhetoric.

I am not opposed to discussing public personas on TPF, including the constant torrent of news surrounding the couple from this thread. But I find it troubling when their looks are being nitpicked apart to a degree that is just not appropriate.

This thread has drawn criticism over the years, and I discussed it at great length with Megs and the mods. I am not looking to close it down, but the vitriol needs to be dialed back.

My personal feelings about hate threads aside, this ultra-negative vibe is something better suited for other forums, Reddit, or elsewhere. I am holding our community to higher standards.

That clickbait site Music Mundial keeps appearing in my feed, declaring that Sparry has changed his mind and decided to skip the coronation.

At this point, who cares. I do think if he skips that's all but a traitorous act seeing his role as a royal duke and son of the monarch.

I don’t know why Meghan doesn’t wear more dresses like this, TBH. This would be so flattering on her - I think I mentioned it like 1000 posts ago.
The shape would hide her boxy torso, and because her legs are already thin, it would make her look skinnier than she is. Besides, no fit issues to deal with, so no worries about bunching and pulling.
*Bonus: the voluminous shape makes it easy to hide recording equipment (I kid, I kid...)

If he keeps regurgitating old victim stories and throwing darts at his father and brother it will give him an excuse not to show, but I think he will. I think he is looking forward to the chilly treatment that he will receive, as odd as that sounds. To him, it will be validation of his position of being ill used by everyone. Yep, that’s sick, but he is sick. I don’t know when in his life this pattern of behavior could have been helped.The cracken has been unleashed in his brain, and I wonder how it will ever be put back in the cave.

Poor Thomas, he's really not well at all! TW will certainly come off as a heartless ***ch after this one, if someone is still sympathetic towards her. How can anyone with a heart be so cruel towards their ailing father who will most likely not have too many years left?!

I’m guessing I’m in the minority that I love linen and think the creases are just it’s unique quality but I WILL say

If you are short, boxy and orangey don’t wear a short, boxy and orangey outfit


A simple tailored linen dress in a nicer pink would have been fine. Barbie herself doesn’t wear prawn Marie Rose pink. (Credit to papertiger for the shrimp joke)

Also I have never liked staud & now it is added to the list of brands with ugly names further damned by association

Speaking from experience, the recording equipment technician would have a hard time clipping on the hidden wireless mic and battery pack. Likely have to resort to clipping them onto her bra and underwear, or she will have to wear a light harness or belt. Her torso is thickset so the lumps will show unless they use a thick stiff material which tents out from her body.

Years ago, a lady who lived most of the year in the greater Palm Springs area told me that on the snob scale, wrinkles showed that you were wearing real linen and not dreaded polyester. Who knew that you would be judged by the wrinkles in your clothing!? So if you are living in a hot climate, wrinkled linen is de rigueur . Well guess what? It wasn’t hot that night at Crypto Stadium. This was not a polo match.
