I kindly request that all members participating in the MM and Harry thread dial back the vile rhetoric.

I am not opposed to discussing public personas on TPF, including the constant torrent of news surrounding the couple from this thread. But I find it troubling when their looks are being nitpicked apart to a degree that is just not appropriate.

This thread has drawn criticism over the years, and I discussed it at great length with Megs and the mods. I am not looking to close it down, but the vitriol needs to be dialed back.

My personal feelings about hate threads aside, this ultra-negative vibe is something better suited for other forums, Reddit, or elsewhere. I am holding our community to higher standards.

I’m guessing I’m in the minority that I love linen and think the creases are just it’s unique quality but I WILL say

If you are short, boxy and orangey don’t wear a short, boxy and orangey outfit


A simple tailored linen dress in a nicer pink would have been fine. Barbie herself doesn’t wear prawn Marie Rose pink. (Credit to papertiger for the shrimp joke)

Also I have never liked staud & now it is added to the list of brands with ugly names further damned by association

Creases are one thing, looking like you slept in it is another.

It's difficult to live in a warm climate and not wear sandals, but boy those are some unattractive feet. How does someone that young have bunions that severe? Did she start wearing stilettos at 12?

Bunions are genetic.
And you can wear sandals that don’t show your whole foot.

There are two things I won't wear - linen and poplin. Both look awful unless you stand the whole time. I learned this pretty early on, so it surprises me that TW would wear that pink linen mess to the game knowing she would be photographed in it.

I guess if I were in a very hot, humid area I might reconsider the linen, but there are lots of other breezy things to wear that won't look bad.

Wish I had read this part of the thread before I decided to wear my new linen pants to sit in all day. Cue baggy butt...

See she's useful for something, education on misguided fashion applications.....

Years ago, a lady who lived most of the year in the greater Palm Springs area told me that on the snob scale, wrinkles showed that you were wearing real linen and not dreaded polyester. Who knew that you would be judged by the wrinkles in your clothing!? So if you are living in a hot climate, wrinkled linen is de rigueur . Well guess what? It wasn’t hot that night at Crypto Stadium. This was not a polo match.

I wasn't a huge fan of the jeans but overall this outfit would have been a better choice.

Okay, benefit of doubt, maybe the length was to accommodate stilettos and, after the bride inhaled her bag of contraband, she kicked off her shoes?

Stilettos on the beach in Jamaica? It looks off the rack. In fact, very similar to a dress my daughter insisted on wearing to a prom in the early 2000's. Similar style, she has a similar build (but nice legs haha) and realized very quickly that without the boobs to hold it up it was slipping down all night..

Oh I don't think that's true at all. It depends on your build. My issue with those jeans is that they looked sloppy. So many denim options and she went with those.

I think Catherine also has skinny legs (not unattractive as MM) but C wears longer skits, tights or long pants - avoids SHORTS - C makes it work - but I was struck by the two of them during the funeral walkout, rare full length shots without coats

I don’t think Catherine has skinny legs. They look in proportion to her body and her legs have great muscle tone which shows she’s active and exercises. TW’s legs on the other hand really are skinny particularly in relation to her thicker torso and her legs lack muscle tone.

Even Valentine Low mentioned several times how people said Harry was amicable pre Ghoul. He'd treat his stuff fairly, spent time with them e.g. having drinks or a quick bite after work and was generally cordial and polite to people he was encountering. That is not the BRF covering up for him. That was him being a still flawed but ok person and boss which all but vanished once the demon spawn sank her claws into him.

As we've discussed, they really brought out the worst in each other.

Seriously linen is challenging on everyone. And I'm definitely hiding my backside right now since it's all stretched out (the wrinkled pants, not my backside).

In her case though, there are so many unfortunately choices she's made for her body type, it's not like avoiding the issues is easy.
