Prince Harry and Meghan Markle thread

I kindly request that all members participating in the MM and Harry thread dial back the vile rhetoric.

I am not opposed to discussing public personas on TPF, including the constant torrent of news surrounding the couple from this thread. But I find it troubling when their looks are being nitpicked apart to a degree that is just not appropriate.

This thread has drawn criticism over the years, and I discussed it at great length with Megs and the mods. I am not looking to close it down, but the vitriol needs to be dialed back.

My personal feelings about hate threads aside, this ultra-negative vibe is something better suited for other forums, Reddit, or elsewhere. I am holding our community to higher standards.

Thanks for reading.

It will be a video recording of Archie’s birthday party where he looks plaintively into the camera and squeaks “I miss you, papa.”

They could just show last year's (when Haz-bin went to polo)

That way they could leak show it early and get in there quick first thing in the morning, before the millions line the procession 6 May. LA is 8 hours behind London, the Coronation happens way before A will get out of bed.

I mean, reports kids live in a cupboard with nannies. M doesn't even live with them any more preferring to be closer to LA, and H thinks it's really important to fly halfway round the World to attend a court case he doesn't have to. Obviously the kids are really important to them - but only as excuses, props, and for conversation- not as people.

Harry’s actions are proving what I thought all along. Meghan gets a lot of blame for leading Harry astray.

NO.

Harry was always an entitled, arrogant a-hole, consumed with jealousy of his brother - and causing headaches for William for years. Charles saddled William in asking him to deal with Harry.

Palace PR constructed the “cheeky lad” prince, to cover his drinking, drug taking and awful behaviour. They probably hoped he would grow out of it. But in doing so, Harry never learned to take responsibility for his own actions.

Drinking and drug taking? Oh that’s the tabloids fault for labelling him. Dressing like a nazi? Oh that’s Williams fault for not telling him ”don’t”. Mental health issues? That’s his fathers fault for the way he was raised (I wasn’t hugged, didn’t ride bikes etc) and his brothers fault too.

Apart from Oprah, where Meghan showed just how nasty and spiteful she is and Netflix where they both whined - He is the one telling stories, filing court cases and giving interviews with the intention to hurt his own family.

What a disgusting person he is.

They truly deserve each other.

How much bleedin' "preparation" does the Half-Wit Prince NEED, other than stashing his daily dose of dope into whatever hiding place he uses, or have someone sew the wires for his recording devices into his jacket so they're less obvious? it's not as if he has to buy a new wardrobe or apply for a passport or find a hotel that meets his over-the-top security requirements. That's the best excuse his six remaining brain cells could come up with? Any British judge who falls for that should turn in his wig.

Just another steaming pile of BS to add to the Casa MonteShyteShow compost bin.
I think it was lady C who said for tax reasons, H can only spend a maximum of 16 days in the UK per calendar year. If he exceeds that, he runs the risk of being considered a UK resident for tax purposes. It’s going to be interesting to see how he manages this if he has to be deposed or testify in all 3 of his lawsuits. And since he is so litigious, he’ll probably file more suits in the future which will make his time management act even more interesting.

The kids are treated as cute accessories

I just have to ask, was I being terribly evil when I immediately thought "how annoying" when I heard Harold describe Archie as having "a little squeaky voice" and all the reporters writing how adorable that was? Because I was thinking "oh great, he's inherited his mother's nails-on-a-chalkboard whiny voice".

No, you were not evil. It's evil for a parent to describe their child's voice as "a little squeaky voice" particularly to the World to publish. Unforgivable. Children have cute voices, they're just children, and part of what makes them cute. Harry is hideous.

In proposed amendments to his phone hacking claim against Murdoch’s company obtained by The Guardian on Wednesday (26 April), Harry alleges that Morgan “knew about, encouraged and concealed” when he was editor of the News of the World.

When Harry’s application was argued in the High Court on Tuesday (25 April), the judge overseeing the case called Harry’s new testimony “troubling”, questioning “factual inaccuracies” in the case.

Resharing a story about the judge’s comments on Thursday (27 April) morning, Morgan tweeted: “Oh dear, are Prince Privacy’s recollections varying again?

I just wish they’d treat their children like children instead of like props. That was a weird description of a child’s voice.
