I kindly request that all members participating in the MM and Harry thread dial back the vile rhetoric.

I am not opposed to discussing public personas on TPF, including the constant torrent of news surrounding the couple from this thread. But I find it troubling when their looks are being nitpicked apart to a degree that is just not appropriate.

This thread has drawn criticism over the years, and I discussed it at great length with Megs and the mods. I am not looking to close it down, but the vitriol needs to be dialed back.

My personal feelings about hate threads aside, this ultra-negative vibe is something better suited for other forums, Reddit, or elsewhere. I am holding our community to higher standards.

We know Dr. Shola is not all there, but let's dissect this.

Can someone explain to me in simple words

a) why Ghoul's wants always come before anyone else's comfort? You'd think one has the right to die in peace.

b) how Kate obeying the patriarch's/her boss's wishes at personal cost no less somehow makes her the villain?

c) refer back to a seeing it is apparently both illoyal and womenhating to keep the troublemaker from a deathbed.

Also Shola seems to have missed the part where the POS a) tried to sell the news to the US and b) leaked the supposed route of The Queen to Omid. Which is how she got her loving nickname of Ghoul.

Charles had access to so many resources and took advantage of them, good for him! Harold could have done the same and gotten a superb education instead of becoming a joke.

One of my siblings has educated themselves. 2021 was a stellar year, we had so much porcini (eaten fresh, froze some and dried a bunch) that we calculated it would have cost us several hundred bucks had we bought them, especially the dried ones. And we are careful harvesters who only ever take one, two, three pieces from one place. Of course we have a crazy neighbour who rips out EVERYTHING and fills two (!) extra (!) freezers like a maniac. May karma twist his ankle so he misses next season.

I personally only ever take enough wild garlic from my own garden to make one or two glasses of paste to tie me over for a bit, fearing I'll kill what's essentially a weed that made itself comfortable without human intervention if I take too much :lol:

The twists and turns to keep the fantasy scenario of M as a hapless, helpless victim (and everyone else is evil) is spectacular. Like a gymnastic roller-coaster.

Not wishing ill on the alleged children but I hope they will not come near either grandfather. Their alleged parents and grandmother are monetizing the dead grandma, and will have no qualms weaponizing the kids to get what they think is a fair share of the moola.

I doubt Sparry ever thought of money matters, and he likely imparted the same notion to the Soho girlie that the Bank of Dad would always be a fount of cash no matter what they did or didn't do. Personally I consider their behaviour treasonous.

I feel so bad for those kids. They have no chance to grow up to be well-rounded individuals, isolated in their McMansion with a drug addict for a father with worrisome delusions and a malignant narcissist and psychopath as a mother.
