Prince Harry and Meghan Markle thread

I kindly request that all members participating in the MM and Harry thread dial back the vile rhetoric.

I am not opposed to discussing public personas on TPF, including the constant torrent of news surrounding the couple from this thread. But I find it troubling when their looks are being nitpicked apart to a degree that is just not appropriate.

This thread has drawn criticism over the years, and I discussed it at great length with Megs and the mods. I am not looking to close it down, but the vitriol needs to be dialed back.

My personal feelings about hate threads aside, this ultra-negative vibe is something better suited for other forums, Reddit, or elsewhere. I am holding our community to higher standards.

Thanks for reading.

I mean, this is a once in a lifetime occasion. Archie will have more birthdays.

Using the kids for an excuse is unbelievable. Archie may think "Oh lovely, Mummy thinks I'm so important" but he may think (in the future) it was his fault his family didn't go to the Coronation, and everyone in the World was told so too.

That's a lot to saddle a child with.

“The decision was taken to ensure Prince Harry didn't have an excuse to bring his wife, because he might have insisted if the Princess of Wales was there.”

They are very like Harry in nature I’m afraid -the “spare “ jealousy gene is deeply implanted in them they are really not worth your sympathy - like Harry their youthful actions have been largely covered up in respect to the Queen while she was alive
Eugenie and Bea may have indulged in youthful shenanigans but there’s no way anything they did approached Harry’s level. No wild Vegas weekends, no Nazi costumes. If they had it absolutely would have been all over the news. The Yorks don’t get the press protection the Windsors and Wales do. Ask Fergie.

Anyone who is a “royal fan” is not a fan of TW. And vice versa.
my impression from limited British and Irish celebs I've seen who were asked about is that a lot of them aren't fans of the RF or the Prince and his WIFE. I think (and Brits here please correct me) that while a lot of British people did love the queen, a lot are not in love with the idea of the monarchy

I believe this, "Princess was denied a final goodbye with the Queen because she had to stay away from Balmoral to ensure Harry's wife couldn't come, royal author claims." I always thought the reason Kate didn't go to Balmoral was to facilitate keeping TW-Netfl*x out of the area at such a difficult time.:girlsigh: Why the need to constantly be fair to TW when she doesn't seem to mind being unfair to them?:hrmm:

'The King said it was only for the children and grandchildren to be with the Queen,' he told the Daily Telegraph in Australia, adding that Charles wanted to stress that it was 'not appropriate for wives to attend', even though Sophie Wessex travelled to Balmoral.

'Privately, he wanted to say Meghan was not welcome,' he continued, according to a report in the NZ Herald.

'But he couldn't say that to Harry, so he personally intervened and asked Kate to stay back so that it was fairer on Meghan.'

He said that the Princess of Wales - who had stayed back at Adelaide Cottage and was spotted leaving Windsor Castle to collect the children from school on the day - had 'wanted to be there with the Queen', but couldn't be.

This makes sense to me.

That depends entirely on the type of "film" in question....
With thanks to Rose100 for this picture in a previous post.

The sugar’s “star” using her power, ironically posing on a casting couch, looking prepped for a porno film. Photo gear is there, stud is not, and looking so frustrated her legs are uncharacteristically clenched tightly closed.

She will not be missed by the majority at the Coronation. DAF01B8B-2980-4580-94B6-B69D624717DE.jpeg

Sorry for the double photo, once was offensive enough, but can’t get second one deleted, Markle curse?

Unfortunately for Charles he isn’t the Queen and he’ll never have the love and respect she had. We mentioned charisma before. It makes a difference when it’s missing.
