I kindly request that all members participating in the MM and Harry thread dial back the vile rhetoric.

I am not opposed to discussing public personas on TPF, including the constant torrent of news surrounding the couple from this thread. But I find it troubling when their looks are being nitpicked apart to a degree that is just not appropriate.

This thread has drawn criticism over the years, and I discussed it at great length with Megs and the mods. I am not looking to close it down, but the vitriol needs to be dialed back.

My personal feelings about hate threads aside, this ultra-negative vibe is something better suited for other forums, Reddit, or elsewhere. I am holding our community to higher standards.

They are going to have to do better IMO. It's a Coronation concert FFS! What would be cool was if they got some performers who didn't do the Jubilee concert. Rolling Stones, anyone...? :cool:

Well Charlie Watts is dead and Keith Richards looks like it, so I'm not sure they'd be a good choice. :lol:

The problem is, they probably don't pay the performers so no-one is interested. Plus, KCIII is not his mother so it's not like an invitation you simply cannot decline. Also we don't know what KC is demanding, he might have his own ideas on what he wants from the concert (most likely doesn't really care).

I really have no ideas for relevant artists. Coldplay? I give up.

Did Diana get it right ? We have always assumed so but if this thread has taught me something … it is the multiple versions/facets of stories

I'm sure there are artists who are either lukewarm or anti-royal, or do not want to risk losing fans who are.
