I kindly request that all members participating in the MM and Harry thread dial back the vile rhetoric.

I am not opposed to discussing public personas on TPF, including the constant torrent of news surrounding the couple from this thread. But I find it troubling when their looks are being nitpicked apart to a degree that is just not appropriate.

This thread has drawn criticism over the years, and I discussed it at great length with Megs and the mods. I am not looking to close it down, but the vitriol needs to be dialed back.

My personal feelings about hate threads aside, this ultra-negative vibe is something better suited for other forums, Reddit, or elsewhere. I am holding our community to higher standards.

In fairness that applies to a lot of people. I'm at the point in life that I tell whoever is trying to take a picture of me "You're too close!"

I checked! Annie is not saying either way but Tom is touring in the U.S. and has a gig May 5th so no wonder he's out of the question, unfortunately. Paul is touring this summer so definitely not retired and has nothing in May. Shirley Bassey had a concert in October so she's also still active.

They are going to have to do better IMO. It's a Coronation concert FFS! What would be cool was if they got some performers who didn't do the Jubilee concert. Rolling Stones, anyone...?

Even if I knew nothing about her, I'd say while she is objectively a very attractive woman, she has a hard look to her. It's not just here. Recall how scary she looked at the funeral. I think in the few pics we've seen where she has little or no makeup on she actually looks better, and younger.
