I kindly request that all members participating in the MM and Harry thread dial back the vile rhetoric.

I am not opposed to discussing public personas on TPF, including the constant torrent of news surrounding the couple from this thread. But I find it troubling when their looks are being nitpicked apart to a degree that is just not appropriate.

This thread has drawn criticism over the years, and I discussed it at great length with Megs and the mods. I am not looking to close it down, but the vitriol needs to be dialed back.

My personal feelings about hate threads aside, this ultra-negative vibe is something better suited for other forums, Reddit, or elsewhere. I am holding our community to higher standards.

I suspect she made it clear to her husband after the funeral that she did not want to be near Meghan again. William took it from there. I think he probably had support from Camilla who clearly didn’t want her husband’s day sullied.

The unfortunate part of this, and by TB saying what he did,is that it makes Catherine look like a mean girl and I don’t think she is at heart. Anything she might have said would have been more logical than emotional

I have felt sorry for the York girls for a long time. Imagine being in your 30s and the press hates you because they hate your parents. These stories are 100% press driven. None of the Yorks can do any right in the eyes of the media.

Maybe he can be, uh, exorcised once she dumps him. But I'm not sure the BRF will ever be truly be able - or even willing - to move on from his betrayal. He's inflicted deep wounds on every single one of them, two people he hurt deeply are gone without ever learning he was sorry for treating them horribly, and he tried to destroy the very essence of their being. How do you come back from that.

Meghan realizes that if she has no longer has any ties to the royal family whatsoever, she will have nothing to offer and her stock will fall even farther. At least now, stories about her entitled, nasty behavior still sell. She might be disliked, but she can monetize that emotion. But if they lose their ties to the RF, even that will end. So any attempt to ensure her children maintain a relationship with the king is simply an attempt to keep herself relevant. Without the RF (and whatever stupid Tyler Perry film she might try to do) her ability to earn money falls to virtually zero. It appears that Meghan and Harry finally realized (probably too late) that they essentially killed their golden goose, their ties to the RF.

As an aside, I find it truly astounding that these two can assault their entire family again and again for personal financial gain, then expect that same family to welcome them into the fold with open arms. They don’t seem to understand that there are consequences to their abhorrent behavior and betrayal. It’s anbsolutely amazing.

You can’t pick your parents. Fergie has made her own bed with her stupid decisions coupled with her big mouth. I don’t blames the girls for that. If Eugenie wants to support Harry, that is her choice and she has to deal with the blowback.

Bea showed her choice at the Jubilee when she followed instructions and refused to move down the row when Harry asked her to do so. It was obvious that she and Edo had been told, perhaps even at the last minute, that Harry might try to do this Someone was thinking ahead that day. Let’s hope that same someone has contingencies planned if Harry tries something at the coronation.
