I kindly request that all members participating in the MM and Harry thread dial back the vile rhetoric.

I am not opposed to discussing public personas on TPF, including the constant torrent of news surrounding the couple from this thread. But I find it troubling when their looks are being nitpicked apart to a degree that is just not appropriate.

This thread has drawn criticism over the years, and I discussed it at great length with Megs and the mods. I am not looking to close it down, but the vitriol needs to be dialed back.

My personal feelings about hate threads aside, this ultra-negative vibe is something better suited for other forums, Reddit, or elsewhere. I am holding our community to higher standards.

Amid reports of Markle’s controlling nature, the insider adds: “If she was super controlling, then she could have made sure that Harry didn’t go. She’s all good, she supports Harry — they both have nothing more to prove.”

Thanks for the heads-up, I especially enjoyed her comments about Major Johnny since I've been known to pop over to that thread occasionally. :girlsigh:

There was some speculation either here or at the Men In Kilts thread about the Handsome Major's placement directly behind the Snarkles at the Jubilee Service, and Lady C confirmed that there actually was a connection between the Major's placement and the RF's concerns about the Snarkles being "miked up", and where the Major was positioned during the Service. Starts right around the 40-minute mark and runs with a few detours for around 5 minutes, if anyone's curious:



I loved hearing Lady C refer to him as "Dishy Johnny", and also when she mentioned that the head of MI6 was ALSO standing close behind the Duke and Duchess of Roast Chicken, which I hadn't known before. I can't help but wonder what sort of scanning or jamming devices Johnny And Friend might have been aiming at the two Royal Reprobates and hope the up close and personal attention (the Snarkles may not have known about the presence of MI6 but there's no way they could have missed the then-Major) made them extremely uncomfortable. When she drags out one of her “truths” to slam the Royals it triggers the vision in my head of a video clip of her that is readily available from her pre H days, the one where she is braying like a hyena, tossing her head back, icky hair flying and laughingly shouts like it’s the funniest joke in the world, “I am suuuuch a FRAUD!”

I think to myself, YES, YOU ARE, and this may be the only time in your life you’ve ever told the truth !

I can't believe the sugars think that Zed wasn't invited. How many millions of dollars worth of a worldwide wedding, Frogmore renovations, designer clothes, jewels, private international jet travel, servant service, private chauffeured cars, every whim catered to, a Duchess title, etc can a person be given and STILL cry "Racism!" ? Zed's lies have been debunked, remember the "we got married before the TV wedding" to which the archbishop said "Nope"? This stupid crazy bish is beyond the pale. I just hope her kids didn't inherit her genes of psychosis.
