I kindly request that all members participating in the MM and Harry thread dial back the vile rhetoric.

I am not opposed to discussing public personas on TPF, including the constant torrent of news surrounding the couple from this thread. But I find it troubling when their looks are being nitpicked apart to a degree that is just not appropriate.

This thread has drawn criticism over the years, and I discussed it at great length with Megs and the mods. I am not looking to close it down, but the vitriol needs to be dialed back.

My personal feelings about hate threads aside, this ultra-negative vibe is something better suited for other forums, Reddit, or elsewhere. I am holding our community to higher standards.

LOL, great observation.

Dr. Shola is usually screechy like nails on a blackboard, actually was pretty mild this morning, so I try to avoid her, but she has never impressed as having any critical analysis skills when it comes to TW.

I was thinking as she spouted her drivel, that King Charles wasn’t bad when he was funding TW’s outrageous sense of entitlement in the early months.

Secretly I think TW’s had a simmering grudge against him from the beginning because she resented his gallantry in stepping forward to walk her down the aisle at the Wedding. What she really wanted was a solo, starring herself, stroll down the long aisle, all eyes only on her, and he messed up her plans.

It’s not exactly a shock. Fergie has not been invited to most royal events since the divorce. I think the only exceptions in the past 25+ years were Harry and Meghan’s wedding and the Queen’s funeral.

I just looked it up too. They are really hopeless. They are dumb enough to think that people won't know what they are talking about, and those who do, will think it cute and funny. It is neither. It is juvenile and in bad taste. What else is new with these two?

Many of my cousins live on a different continent, and while my grandparents were alive, my parents made sure to take us back to our mother land every other summer to learn the culture, language, food, and most importantly, to know where we came from and to know our family and develop bonds to them. Not having seen my cousins every year was definitely awkward for the first hour or so, but as kids, you move on quickly, and those summers spent with them are some I will never forget. Growing up with cousins is like your childhood friends...years can pass by, but there's just something special about them. It's too bad Invisibet and Merchie will not get to know any cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents, etc. Except for Dooooria that is.

Fergie is getting too mouthy in her new found freedom. She thinks that because KC3 invited her for Christmas, she is back in the fold. She is as crude and crass as ever. She really needs to STFU!

If the coronation is like most weddings, there is a B list of people who will be invited when the A list can't make it. There will always be a worthy person from the shires or a loyal assistant who will get that seat and should get it.

At the time everyone thought that was just a lovely gesture by KC, but from what I read it wasn't so much gallantry as he was following the rule of the C of E that a bride must be escorted to the altar. But it made him look good.

There are many cultures, like yours, who appreciate the importance of family relationships. Meghan had visits with the Raglands and Harry certainly knew his cousins. You wonder what happened to them not to care about doing the same for their children. I think the answer is just that they are so self centered and don't care or think about it.
