I kindly request that all members participating in the MM and Harry thread dial back the vile rhetoric.

I am not opposed to discussing public personas on TPF, including the constant torrent of news surrounding the couple from this thread. But I find it troubling when their looks are being nitpicked apart to a degree that is just not appropriate.

This thread has drawn criticism over the years, and I discussed it at great length with Megs and the mods. I am not looking to close it down, but the vitriol needs to be dialed back.

My personal feelings about hate threads aside, this ultra-negative vibe is something better suited for other forums, Reddit, or elsewhere. I am holding our community to higher standards.

Why would they not be in the second row? They gave up being working royals. If I was the BRF, I would've put them as far in the back as possible. Like outside.

IF it happens, a divorce will not really solve much. I think it will exacerbate all the nastiness that forms the basis of the marriage and result in both parties running amok. H will suffer most, because, unlike TW, he has not lived a lifetime Markle style, cutting people off and piling relationships on an ever growing refuse pile while moving on.

I don’t think he is intellectually or emotionally able to manage. Supposedly he has been in therapy for years, and, yet what we see today is not indicative of sound mental health.

TW never demonstrated any respect or deference as a member of the Firm. As an “ex” her truths will slash and burn. Her demented sugars will deify her faux feminism in taking a stand to unload some baggage they perceive as holding her back.

Both narcissists will blame their usual targets, the Royal Family, the media, never taking any responsibility for their actions. TW will blame H. He, however, is incapable I think of admitting his collossal error in judgement and blowing off the cautions of his family to marry her, so he will focus on RF and media.

There will be new rings to the Circus. Where will H live, how will H live? Will the King pay the bills for his grandchildren? How will the children be brought into the family so they finally have an opportunity to experience grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins? Who and how will custody of the children be determined? How will the RF handle the potential merching TW will likely pursue? Dior children? Will the family do an Intervention to get H into Rehab? What, if anything, will be done about titles? Can the children be removed from the LOS? Ludicrous to think they come before Anne, for example. Etc, etc, etc.

It will be ugly, it will go on forever. Toxic ash from the implosion will fill the air interminably.

I never really thought of it in this capacity, but they (well, she, really) are totally denying those children of their family. Royal or not, that is their family that they have zero connection to. That is very sad.

I agree the use of coroneted is incorrect in this context but I don’t think their use of ravish in the above sentence makes sense either. Camilla had an affair with Charles while he was still married to Diana but saying camilla ravished Charles sounds awfully like a cheesy romance novel. No wonder the author of that post is a TW fan. They both like to use a lot of big words that don’t mean what they think they mean

Yes the word ravish is not technically incorrect but it is used oddly in the context of that particular post. The poster I believe meant to be derogatory towards camilla but as you just pointed out the term to ravish can mean to fill them with pleasure, joy or happiness which could be seen as complimentary towards Camilla and I doubt that was what the poster intended. Ravish can also mean to seize and carry one off by force which again doesn’t really apply to Charles having an extra marital affair with Camilla.

Not to defend them, it is possible H&M thought Hazzie being Charles and Diana’s traumatized son would give him all kinds of allowances and exceptions. He would be untouchable. They did not realize that as much as the BRF is a family, it is first and foremost a business. Business needs conquer family wants.

Plus, Hazzie believed what he heard - he was the favorite and the popular son. Very similar to the stories around Andi [even down to the romance rumors - Andi with Diana and Hazz with Kate]. The BRF needs a new playbook for these spares imo.
