I kindly request that all members participating in the MM and Harry thread dial back the vile rhetoric.

I am not opposed to discussing public personas on TPF, including the constant torrent of news surrounding the couple from this thread. But I find it troubling when their looks are being nitpicked apart to a degree that is just not appropriate.

This thread has drawn criticism over the years, and I discussed it at great length with Megs and the mods. I am not looking to close it down, but the vitriol needs to be dialed back.

My personal feelings about hate threads aside, this ultra-negative vibe is something better suited for other forums, Reddit, or elsewhere. I am holding our community to higher standards.

Yep, we could actually hear the multiple sighs of relief - sorry, I meant disappointment - like the rumble of a freight train in the distance, all the way from Southern Cal to Chicago.

Now all those parents can start answering their phones again instead of sending all of their calls straight to voicemail.

Aren't you meant to put it on the top of your hand above your index finger and thumb and eat it from there rather than having it on bread or toast?

My father used to import it (through a hole in the Iron Curtain ). There are many different types and it's a preference, not better or worse, just totally what you like. I really love some of the Japanese varieties of roe too. The less expensive is served any which way in recipes as garnish, the good stuff is consumed au natural as is.

The tin is opened and kept on ice for freshness. People put the roe on their fingers to warm it up a bit before putting in their mouth because it's not eaten (chomp chomp) but rather melted in the mouth.

Bread with minimum salt is def better than commercial toast or crackers. bread is OK, as is the boiled white of an egg with the yolk scooped out.

Glad to see those capers in the bowl were not fooling anyone. Meghan is such a skin-flint.
