I kindly request that all members participating in the MM and Harry thread dial back the vile rhetoric.

I am not opposed to discussing public personas on TPF, including the constant torrent of news surrounding the couple from this thread. But I find it troubling when their looks are being nitpicked apart to a degree that is just not appropriate.

This thread has drawn criticism over the years, and I discussed it at great length with Megs and the mods. I am not looking to close it down, but the vitriol needs to be dialed back.

My personal feelings about hate threads aside, this ultra-negative vibe is something better suited for other forums, Reddit, or elsewhere. I am holding our community to higher standards.

Maybe in private they will split in two years but not in public. If they are going to divorce wouldn't she wait until she is ten years married in California. It's 50/50 split with money, house etc. So they are there now in California around two years, so eight years to go. So if there is a divorce my prediction will be around 2030.

By the way I wish nobody a divorce. Certainly not with children involved.

Correct. He has no pride, just ego. He'll come running back to Daddy Charles the moment Meg drops him like a hot potato. She doesn't mess with liabilities, and he has certainly proven himself one after his book. She may leave him sooner if the money runs out. Certainly a nice settlement from the dreaded royal family is better than having her precious reputation tanked so badly she can't merch anymore.

Agree, but when they divorce she'll be (in her head) the hard done by still titled ex wife of a troubled Prince that treated her mental health badly and she'll be milking that for the rest of her life. Also, her kids will always be Prince and Princess, she won't let us forget that.

yes she definitely has delusions of grandeur but in her actual brain she must realize she has gotten all this fame and money due to her relationship with the prince....would her self-image as a great humanitarian and A-list person allow her to be a Real Housewife? Time will tell

Bread with minimum salt is def better than commercial toast or crackers. bread is OK, as is the boiled white of an egg with the yolk scooped out.

Glad to see those capers in the bowl were not fooling anyone. Meghan is such a skin-flint.

So we think she put capers in an empty caviar tin to fool her followers into thinking it was GEN-U-INE caviar? I have to step back a bit to realize she kept an empty caviar tin to start with.

Capers could be nice too, but yes I do think she cobbled some nonsense together for the paid # and she is just the type to keep an empty jar of caviar as a prop.

I can see a permanent uncoupling but not divorce. It would get sos messy for both of them financially. Have they burned through most of his millions yet, or is that money in some kind of trust? Who gets the house and would that depend on how the "ownership" is listed (corporation or what not)? Businesses and how are they structured and named? It appears maybe she holds the bulk of the assets and income? But she would never give up majority custody of the kids so would she be entitled to alimony? Very complicated.

If they did divorce, I could see Harry slinking his way back to the UK and living quietly on dad's tab for a long while - until Will becomes King (I don't see Will paying H's way through the rest of his adult life). Rehabbing his image and regaining family trust would probably not be possible so unlikely he could return to doing any duties. Probably wouldn't want to live on a different continent from his kids... I think Harry knows this so divorce probably isn't an option for him.
