I kindly request that all members participating in the MM and Harry thread dial back the vile rhetoric.

I am not opposed to discussing public personas on TPF, including the constant torrent of news surrounding the couple from this thread. But I find it troubling when their looks are being nitpicked apart to a degree that is just not appropriate.

This thread has drawn criticism over the years, and I discussed it at great length with Megs and the mods. I am not looking to close it down, but the vitriol needs to be dialed back.

My personal feelings about hate threads aside, this ultra-negative vibe is something better suited for other forums, Reddit, or elsewhere. I am holding our community to higher standards.

It’s Easter Sunday, a Christian celebration, they were raised Christian and have had their children baptized, yet it seems the Suckesses make no attempt to ever attend church?

I mean, I am Catholic, I went to a private Catholic highschool (not for religious reasons though, it was simply the best school) where weekly mass was part of the curriculum, yet I go to church exactly once a year (grandpa's death anniversary) unless there's an occasion (wedding, funeral, baptism). So that might just be one thing I won't hold against them. Then again, if my offspring's highly esteemed place in the LoS was dependent on their religious affiliation and their grandfather was a Head of Church I might try a little harder.

I still don't get how Harry couldn't maintain a wife on his share. Like, there are people operating on 2000 bucks with no free housing and they can keep the wife home to take care of the children.

I would also like to know - maybe it has been mentioned - if Kate received her own salary or if William maintained her from his share just as he maintained his children.

If I should guess I'd say that's exactly it but Ghoul thought she deserved more. Also, I honestly doubt they'd "use her as they liked" to use Ghoul's unbareable cheese but told her she'd do it for free. But what do I know!

PS I had forgotten about the insignificant 100k pounds that the Harkles got from the government, that paled in comparison to the tab paid by Charles

An article that details how Charles spent the income from the duchy of Cornwall for the fiscal year 2020-2021 Lists 24 million BP before taxes net income out of which he paid 5.8 million in taxes, 9.2 million spent on his and Camilla’s official duties and charity work, 107 thousand on his London office and residence, 892 thousand on train and air travel, 4.3 million was used primarily to cover William and Kate’s expenses related to their official duties (including travel and wardrobe) and presumably their residences plus expenses for their 3 children, and 3.3 million was listed as Charles’ private expenditures. So if the grifters had still been part of the senior working royals, if you add the 4.3 million William and Kate got and the 3.3 million Charles spent on his personal stuff, that meant 7.6 million available to split between William and his family, Harry and his family, and something to cover Charles’s private expenditures. That’s not enough to cover the reported 700-800 thousand TW spent on her horrible wardrobe and still leave enough for the grifter’s other expenses, William and his family’s expenses plus Charles’ private expenses.

Apparently she was already independently wealthy or so we were told by (her) PR every other feed-piece to the mainstream press reminding us of how much she gave-up.

What did Madame Z have t pay for once married (beyond insisting she kept ahold os Sunshine Sax)?

Given a house to live in for peppercorn rent (I had to pay for mine)
Given an extensive budget for wardrobe (I pay for mine)
Given a team of staff (I have one permanent assistant and 3 on a Friday if you need to know)
Everything for work
Transport laid on (I pay for mine)
Holidays(?)
Security laid on (I did my time at the dojo)
Medical and dental bills (I have horrendous dentist bills)
Nannies paid for day and night (even when they were home)
Many catered events (keeps the take-out bill down)

Apart from food, dog food, botox, fillers (2 items probably tax deductible) questionable fancy dress and sex educational toys perhaps, what on Earth would she need money for - except for greed's sake?
