I kindly request that all members participating in the MM and Harry thread dial back the vile rhetoric.

I am not opposed to discussing public personas on TPF, including the constant torrent of news surrounding the couple from this thread. But I find it troubling when their looks are being nitpicked apart to a degree that is just not appropriate.

This thread has drawn criticism over the years, and I discussed it at great length with Megs and the mods. I am not looking to close it down, but the vitriol needs to be dialed back.

My personal feelings about hate threads aside, this ultra-negative vibe is something better suited for other forums, Reddit, or elsewhere. I am holding our community to higher standards.

In retrospect, maybe we got it wrong all along … YEARS AGO, we criticized KC3. Why was he meekly paying all the bills ??

Now it comes out that Megxit was the result of KC3 saying he could not / would not pay for the Harkle spendathon - KC3 quietly put his foot down, and they flounced out

Their first Megxit manifesto was about financial independence not privacy and security … so, we have circled back to the start, it was ALWAYS about money
But also about H being STUPID not to realize all the value of the BRF non liquid perks (security, housing, PR)

It always made no sense that they fled to "freedom" and to establish themselves as financially independent, and yet expected Bank of Dad to continue paying for everything. I'm sorely tempted to take a walk on the dark side and see how stans are twisting the laws of the universe to continue their rabid support. But I have to wash my hair ....

Some Harkle-friendly publications claim that they were busy setting up an elaborate easter egg hunt for the invisikids. I didn't click in, but the Hello feature was dated in February, 1.5 months before Easter. Maybe it was a Netflix/merching shoot so they celebrated Easter early to allow time for the Photoshop.

I see this so often with celebs on TV, especially on the nighttime talk shows. And you can tell they know how short their dresses are by the way they self-consciously tug them down while standing and then try to adjust while seated. Some are oblivious to it though.

I still don't get how Harry couldn't maintain a wife on his share. Like, there are people operating on 2000 bucks with no free housing and they can keep the wife home to take care of the children.

I would also like to know - maybe it has been mentioned - if Kate received her own salary or if William maintained her from his share just as he maintained his children.

If I should guess I'd say that's exactly it but Ghoul thought she deserved more. Also, I honestly doubt they'd "use her as they liked" to use Ghoul's unbareable cheese but told her she'd do it for free. But what do I know!
