Prince Harry and Meghan Markle thread

I kindly request that all members participating in the MM and Harry thread dial back the vile rhetoric.

I am not opposed to discussing public personas on TPF, including the constant torrent of news surrounding the couple from this thread. But I find it troubling when their looks are being nitpicked apart to a degree that is just not appropriate.

This thread has drawn criticism over the years, and I discussed it at great length with Megs and the mods. I am not looking to close it down, but the vitriol needs to be dialed back.

My personal feelings about hate threads aside, this ultra-negative vibe is something better suited for other forums, Reddit, or elsewhere. I am holding our community to higher standards.

Thanks for reading.

Just had a chance to enlarge the teeny font on this. I mean, PR-type bios tend to exaggerate, but this takes the cake. She is "noted as one of the most powerful and influential women in the world"? Her self-delusion knows no bounds and her stans are feeding it.

If her goal was to become another Angelina Jolie then she has definitely fallen short. Infamous or notorious would be more fitting, but powerful and influential is just laughable  (except in her own mind)

Also ILBW is still waiting for confirmation for these: free birthday cakes/caterer/luxury gifts for Archie's birthday party; all merch contracts for parading her 'heart attack beauty' self around royal stomping grounds; the ETA for new custom-made wigs/extensions. Oh and free new plugs for her husband.
Kate's parents run a party supply business. Maybe they'd love to help out.

JK!!!!

If Zed and Prince Loser attend the Coronation, then I predict that she will wear a bright purple pantsuit (Oooh! Sooooo modern feminist power and occasion ripoff a$$**** thing to do) and Haz' coat will have a matching purple lining, a repeat of the green cape dress episode.

But didn't they insist on "an apology" from the RF? So they may not go on account of the "snub". BUT, if they DO attend, it'll reek of opportunism since they didn't get ThE aPolOGy.

Demands, demands, the Mirror lists 6.
#3 is a hard no. My guess is 4 [if they stay at Frogmore] and 5 are a sure thing. The rest not so much.

1. Birthday crossover

The coronation coincides with another big event for the Sussexes - Prince Archie’s fourth birthday.
It’s believed that the pair want to mark both, and their ideal situation would see their son’s own milestone recognised at his great grandfather’s.

2. Archie and Lilibet's roles
An insider told OK! that one of the issues between the couple and palace officials is how the Sussex children Archie, three, and one-year-old Lilibet will be included on the day but the source added their inclusion in the ceremony has "never been a bone of contention" because small children don’t attend royal events of this scale "due to restlessness and tantrums".
3. Balcony position
According to a source, the pair are requesting they are included on the balcony procession so they can wave along to the crowds with their relatives - however reports suggest this will not happen and they will be banned along with Prince Andrew.

4. Security

The security issue has been played out quite a bit in front of the general public as Harry has repeatedly demanded armed police protection for the times he and his family visit Britain.

5. Frog-more Cottage

It's believed they want to stay there with Harry’s cousin and her family, with whom the prince is close to, which will give their kids the opportunity to spend time with daughter Eug’s son, August, who is a similar age to Lilibet.

6. Face-to-face summit

The Mirror reports that Harry will only attend if he “gets a face-to-face” summit with his dad and brother to discuss their issues.

The Duke and Douchess problems are of theit own making. It’s not up to the palace to solve them.

The King has made his position clear with his decision on the Balcony arrangements.

The most recent reports on line earlier today were 91% voted “NO” on their attendance at the Coronation. Read the room Harkles and don’t waste a load of airplane fuel, stay home in your tacky mansion with a birthday cake for Archie.

p.s. The Mirror needs serious editing, item #5, August is their son, not their daughter.
