I kindly request that all members participating in the MM and Harry thread dial back the vile rhetoric.

I am not opposed to discussing public personas on TPF, including the constant torrent of news surrounding the couple from this thread. But I find it troubling when their looks are being nitpicked apart to a degree that is just not appropriate.

This thread has drawn criticism over the years, and I discussed it at great length with Megs and the mods. I am not looking to close it down, but the vitriol needs to be dialed back.

My personal feelings about hate threads aside, this ultra-negative vibe is something better suited for other forums, Reddit, or elsewhere. I am holding our community to higher standards.

Hi everyone! Took a break for a minute because I just couldn't keep up with the insanity of these two inbiciles after the book release and needed to catch my breath

I know it's yesterday's news now, but OMG South Park straight buuuuuurned them to the ground. Never would I ever have guessed that South Park of all things would have provided the single most beautiful piece of work on them. Truly a gift. I know it's being reported that they didn't watch/don't care but you *know* they did watch and it probably sent Madame into a pile of tears and then rage.

Can I ask for your opinions about her Cartier watch (or watches - not sure if she has one or many)? Why is she so flashy with it? I mean, I can pick one up used on Fashionphile for a pretty reasonable amount so it's not like having one is super elite. Is she just being boujie?

Looking forward to the coronation and fodder that will ensue!

Yesterday, there were two copies of "Spare" at.....TJ Maxx. I was surprised they were still priced at $20. If I ever buy a copy I'll wait until it falls to 2.99. Then maybe. Maybe.

I spent my $2.99 on the South Park episode. Much more entertaining and accurate

True. But she wears it like it’s as iconic as Catherine’s sapphire ring. And I thought she had one already before she met Harry?

Honestly the average person wouldn’t see the watch that way but everyone knows that sapphire ring. Seems she is just struggling/competing for relevance (unsuccessfully)?

Exactly! I was about to say the same thing. Not only was her hair messy, it looked greasy and filthy, probably used 10X amount of product. She'd have been better off washing it and starting over. When you're going to have a huge outing with Queen, wouldn't you spend a little more time than usual getting ready? I have to wonder if she not only ditched wearing a hat, but purposely showed up in long crappy hair. That was embarrassing.

She put a lot of time and care into coming up with a look to show she didn’t care, like sitting with the Queen was not at all special.

I haven’t paid attention to TW’s jewelry but maybe she doesn’t have any better pieces? She has the blood diamonds that were a wedding gift but she obviously doesn’t have any pieces on loan from the BRF like the senior members do (Camilla, Kate, Anne). She doesn’t seem to have any pieces on loan from the top jewelry brands for any of her outings since Megxit Probably because She’s not a big enough celebrity, has not been invited to top tier red carpet events, and has a reputation for not giving stuff back. She didn’t inherit any major stuff from her side of the family and it doesn’t seem like H is buying expensive jewelry for her.
