I kindly request that all members participating in the MM and Harry thread dial back the vile rhetoric.

I am not opposed to discussing public personas on TPF, including the constant torrent of news surrounding the couple from this thread. But I find it troubling when their looks are being nitpicked apart to a degree that is just not appropriate.

This thread has drawn criticism over the years, and I discussed it at great length with Megs and the mods. I am not looking to close it down, but the vitriol needs to be dialed back.

My personal feelings about hate threads aside, this ultra-negative vibe is something better suited for other forums, Reddit, or elsewhere. I am holding our community to higher standards.

I wouldn't put it past them to use it as an excuse not attend, and then a month later say she suffered a tragic second trimester miscarriage.

Well, looks like they watched the episode. Per NS, Harold is reportedly upset at how they were portrayed as empty-headed people seeking privacy while traveling the world promoting a book... According to a good source, Harold "is looking into the legalities."

Re: the supposed pregnancy announcement: during a 2019 H interview with Dr. Jane Goodall H said they were limiting their family to 2. He did his eco warrior branding thing, threw a little shade on his brother’s family of 3, and acted like a superior ass preaching to the world.

So how do they “spin” this?

If true, they will be under a microscope. With all the shenanigans about prior pregnancies, no one, except their rancid sugars, will cut them any slack.

I'm not sure how to add YouTube but if you go to the Body Language Guy's second account, The Royal Rogue he explains all the subtle nuances in the covers. Around the 6 minute mark. He says the South Park writers put Catherine's cover there to imply Meghan copies her. ETA - Yay my link worked!

I cannot imagine Lady C watching South Park but if she does and gives her impressions, I will be happy to sit through one of her half hour rants.

Here is the thing, and I know that I saw it. There was a nanosecond when the Meg character says "oh no! Now they know that Archie doesn't exist." I saw this yesterday and I am unable to refind it. I know that the UK version of the show was slightly different and I might have seen this on a UK site.

I did not see that. Is it possible the UK site had a clip and added their own embellishments?

Here is an opinion from a person who could care less about the duo and who thinks his wife is losing IQ points for even being interested in this drama. It was only rendered when his wife was telling him about the SP show and he thought that it was funny. He thought the frozen blue todger in the window, private jet, polo playing on the front lawn, and using the word victim in the branding were all amusing. His eyes glazed over when his wife attempted to explain the magazine covers. That did not interest him at all.

Opinion:

Harry and Meghan will go to the coronation. They will go even if there is no conciliatory meeting or phone call. They will go because Charles as King demands it of his son who he wants there. It will appear as if everyone kissed and made up even if no words are actually spoken. They will put in the appearance and then leave.
