I kindly request that all members participating in the MM and Harry thread dial back the vile rhetoric.

I am not opposed to discussing public personas on TPF, including the constant torrent of news surrounding the couple from this thread. But I find it troubling when their looks are being nitpicked apart to a degree that is just not appropriate.

This thread has drawn criticism over the years, and I discussed it at great length with Megs and the mods. I am not looking to close it down, but the vitriol needs to be dialed back.

My personal feelings about hate threads aside, this ultra-negative vibe is something better suited for other forums, Reddit, or elsewhere. I am holding our community to higher standards.

Sparry might look into legalities, but Zed's MO is to find some way to cancel the "offender". Is there someone powerful and female in the production hierarchy, like that Carolyn McCall, on whom she could inflict her crocodile tears and wail about being woman/mother/victim/working girl?

One could perhaps commend the Harkles for their public service in bringing attention to potentially dubious charities and other organizations. I bet people are doing more research before making a donation or signing up for some services. Maybe they could even get an award.

I'm not sure how to add YouTube but if you go to the Body Language Guy's second account, The Royal Rogue he explains all the subtle nuances in the covers. Around the 6 minute mark. He says the South Park writers put Catherine's cover there to imply Meghan copies her. ETA - Yay my link worked!

I kind of hope she is pregnant because it will force the issue. Will baby 3 get the Prince/princess title now that Pa is the monarch when the baby was born? Or has KCIII had enough and we'll see new Letters Patent and/or legislation in Parliament dropped sometime around the coronation festivities? Will the BRF continue to grey-rock them and delay the decisions as long as they can?

I don't envy the BRF having to navigate all of Harry and Meghan's crap while planning and executing the coronation, settling in with Charles as King, and still mourning the recent losses of HMTLQ and Prince Phillip. For better or worse, I think how he handles H&M in the next 6 months will set the tone for his entire reign.

Matt Stone and Trey Parker aren't afraid of the Harkles. On the contrary, bet they love the PR and attention from this episode. They've parodied so many public figures/celebrities over the years. Tom Cruise threatened to sue but eventually didn't. And like @V0N1B2 said, the Harkles don't have the cash Tom & Scientology have.

They don’t care about titles for the kids. They are only thinking about themselves. Kind of how having a baby never saved a bad marriage, it won’t save their tarnished image either.

South Park didn’t even acknowledge them having children. Nobody thinks of them as a family. The kids are merely props that are used once or twice a year.

Well, looks like they watched the episode. Per NS, Harold is reportedly upset at how they were portrayed as empty-headed people seeking privacy while traveling the world promoting a book... According to a good source, Harold "is looking into the legalities."

Sounds like somebody wants to earn himself another episode. The “Prince of Canada” can return at any time.

Unlike other animated shows that take months to produce, South Park can turn around an episode in less than a week. Harry and Meghan do not want to engage Matt and Trey’s undivided attention.

Yeah they have very strong turn around time and the fact the creators still write it is why I think this show has maintained its quality to a far greater extent than other cartoons.

To my knowledge they have never opened anyone’s head like a trash can to look inside it before. Meghan has set a new precedent on a 26-year-old show. She must be so proud!
