I kindly request that all members participating in the MM and Harry thread dial back the vile rhetoric.

I am not opposed to discussing public personas on TPF, including the constant torrent of news surrounding the couple from this thread. But I find it troubling when their looks are being nitpicked apart to a degree that is just not appropriate.

This thread has drawn criticism over the years, and I discussed it at great length with Megs and the mods. I am not looking to close it down, but the vitriol needs to be dialed back.

My personal feelings about hate threads aside, this ultra-negative vibe is something better suited for other forums, Reddit, or elsewhere. I am holding our community to higher standards.

Here is an opinion from a person who could care less about the duo:

Harry and Meghan will go to the coronation. They will go even if there is no concilatory meeting or phone call. They will go because Charles as King demands it of his son who he wants there. It will appear as if everyone kissed and made up even if no words are actually spoken. They will put in the appearance and then leave.

I think they will go too. It will be a lot like QEII’s funeral with them sitting with the nonworking royals. And the three days will be all about them because the press will be all over the two. H&M will make every effort to be seen.

There's no appointing someone for Feinstein's seat because she's retiring at the end of her term and will not seek re-election. Her replacement will be elected and there are already two people (Porter and Schiff) who have announced their candidacies for her seat. There are certain to be others.

South Park’s debut was in August 1997. They’ve been successfully skewering subjects 26 years. All a lawsuit from Baby Hawey would do is give Trey Parker and Matt Stone material for additional episodes, they could even do a mini series. “The
Ongoing Saga of a Window Wiping Whinger and His Shriveling Blue Todger.”

Have any of their previously skewered subjects sued them? I don't know for sure, but I don't believe they have. I know Scientologists were irritated by the Tom Cruise episode, etc., but I think they'd have a hard time suing and winning. Wasn't Haz in talks to host SNL? What does he think they do? Skewer celebrities. They should be flattered they're "known" enough to be material for the show.

They don’t care about titles for the kids. They are only thinking about themselves. Kind of how having a baby never saved a bad marriage, it won’t save their tarnished image either.

South Park didn’t even acknowledge them having children. Nobody thinks of them as a family. The kids are merely props that are used once or twice a year.

No chance in hell I would ever vote for someone who wasn't good at their old job ("actress") and is seemingly terrible at their current job ("being a decent human being and not an @sshole"). Hazza as First Man of California would be a joke. Can you imagine? Frozen Todger related political ads?
