I kindly request that all members participating in the MM and Harry thread dial back the vile rhetoric.

I am not opposed to discussing public personas on TPF, including the constant torrent of news surrounding the couple from this thread. But I find it troubling when their looks are being nitpicked apart to a degree that is just not appropriate.

This thread has drawn criticism over the years, and I discussed it at great length with Megs and the mods. I am not looking to close it down, but the vitriol needs to be dialed back.

My personal feelings about hate threads aside, this ultra-negative vibe is something better suited for other forums, Reddit, or elsewhere. I am holding our community to higher standards.

Someone on another site guessed that it was an example of Zed's poor command of English, in line with "gutteral". They suspect what the Unsuccessfuls were trying to say is "heart-stoppingly beautiful". Several comments after that cheerfully dubbing the DINO "Duchess Malaprop".

We’ll probably never know but I’m trying to imagine what they were thinking during some of the scenes. It’s even funnier to imagine what their employees were thinking, maybe giving each other high-fives, because those two must be hell to work for. :biggrin:

She is a typical narc, so she probably thinks they are being so unfair to her. In her eyes, she is perfect: so beautiful and accomplished. She will just see it as further proof that she is a victim. They might bleat that they never wanted privacy. IIRC Sparry protested about a year ago that "privacy" was never mentioned in their Megxit statement.

Haven't watched the SP yet. Did they dare to touch the "racism" truthbomb or his Nazi gear?

Just watched SP. Main theme was branding oneself by hiring a firm to help you with your brand. I don’t recall racism or Nazi gear, but they did have him rubbing his frozen blue privates against the neighbor’s window.
