I kindly request that all members participating in the MM and Harry thread dial back the vile rhetoric.

I am not opposed to discussing public personas on TPF, including the constant torrent of news surrounding the couple from this thread. But I find it troubling when their looks are being nitpicked apart to a degree that is just not appropriate.

This thread has drawn criticism over the years, and I discussed it at great length with Megs and the mods. I am not looking to close it down, but the vitriol needs to be dialed back.

My personal feelings about hate threads aside, this ultra-negative vibe is something better suited for other forums, Reddit, or elsewhere. I am holding our community to higher standards.

Try not to think logically, a has-been pop star has just been made CD of LV Mens, KK is a fashion icon and people still think Meghan Markle is a victim.

What a roast. He’s definitely not as famous as he once was and I think numbers are declining for M too.

I was just going to thrill you all with a blow by blow, step by step account of the hilarious time I opened the door to a DHL man, traded pleasantries, signed for parcel, shut the door, and then lo! Opened my parcel containing cleansing oil. OMG, at least it doesn't happen every day.

Then I thought, no, it'll be too much for some of you to take, you'll die laughing and crying, such an exciting episode in my already fancy schmancy fun-filled life.

However, now listening to excerpts of The Spare, and needing a new handbag Random House is bound to throw money at me and beg me to open the lid of my as yet mysterious life that lay behind PT's avatar.

Harry doesn't need anyone to satirise his stuff, he does it all by himself.

KC3 is not that popular in my country, so I would expect protesters don’t need payment from H and M anyway….

Come to think of it, H has got a fair bit of shrek in him with the constant scowl, bald head and the sticky out ears. Perhaps he secretly shipped them and when he saw her he couldn’t resist?

One of the Peloton yoga instructors keeps showing up on my Insta feed, she looks like a prettier version of early Megatron. I keep feeling bad when I think “yuck!” And then realize it’s not MM!

There are plenty of Scandinavians, including in their royal families, who don't have blonde hair. Look at the crown princesses of Sweden and Denmark - both brunettes. But I understand what you're saying. When we moved to MN twenty years ago someone told my daughter she wasn't really blonde because they were comparing her to a mutual friend who was a snow white blonde, and named Larson to boot. Fun fact though, the biggest immigrant group to MN were actually the Germans.

This made me LOL. When one of my DDs was 3 or 4 years old, (she's a true very blond blond, my ex husband being Danish), I was in a shop in Rome and I heard two ladies commenting on my DD's hair, saying it's crazy to dye such a small kid's hair

Just watched SP. Main theme was branding oneself by hiring a firm to help you with your brand. I don’t recall racism or Nazi gear, but they did have him rubbing his frozen blue privates against the neighbor’s window.

Did I hear correctly that what prompted Harry to do so was Kyle across the street angrily stating he doesn't care and walking in and M exclaiming "What did he just say, he's victimizing me, it's because I'm an ethnic woman!"

We’ll probably never know but I’m trying to imagine what they were thinking during some of the scenes. It’s even funnier to imagine what their employees were thinking, maybe giving each other high-fives, because those two must be hell to work for.

Well, looks like they watched the episode. Per NS, Harold is reportedly upset at how they were portrayed as empty-headed people seeking privacy while traveling the world promoting a book... According to a good source, Harold "is looking into the legalities."

And if he feels entitled to physically attack media in the USA, his unconscious bias will definitely make him feel veeeerrrry entitled to whack the coloured reporters in many countries of the Commonwealth.

Btw I ventured into sugar territory and some of their recent musings are: Kate is intensely jealous of Zed and was out to make her life difficult. She is rigid/uptight etc and should learn to overshare about hormones as the enlightened Zed does (as they claim all Americans do, being superior to the Brits). They also believe Spare is THE truth. I watched. thought it was funny. I don't think I'd watch that show again though. I doubt H&M will see anything funny about it.
