I kindly request that all members participating in the MM and Harry thread dial back the vile rhetoric.

I am not opposed to discussing public personas on TPF, including the constant torrent of news surrounding the couple from this thread. But I find it troubling when their looks are being nitpicked apart to a degree that is just not appropriate.

This thread has drawn criticism over the years, and I discussed it at great length with Megs and the mods. I am not looking to close it down, but the vitriol needs to be dialed back.

My personal feelings about hate threads aside, this ultra-negative vibe is something better suited for other forums, Reddit, or elsewhere. I am holding our community to higher standards.

I think one problem that the Harkles are having is that since they are no longer senior/working royals, the seating is a major issue for them. I have a suspicion that the plan is for the greater family to be gathered at an offisite location like BP and watch the ceremony via live stream. The Harkles would be included in this group and that is exactly what they and especially Harry do not want. It would make sense as The King and Queen will process back to BP for a celebration and presumably, the greater family would be in attendence. They would be shunted back into the hordes of people. Boo Hoo!

I think it's more about KC giving them an itinerary and keeping them occupied for a few days (devil makes work for idle hands). Even H&M getting up to their usual shenanigans at the Coronation is still eyes on the Coronation.

They must sweep them for electronics before and after all events though, and treat them like the spies they are.

Well yeah but I sort of meant all those possible terrorists who are going to travel to London with their sights on H and his family. They'd have to be locked in the cellar for the entire proceedings and still they would be an additional security risk.
