I kindly request that all members participating in the MM and Harry thread dial back the vile rhetoric.

I am not opposed to discussing public personas on TPF, including the constant torrent of news surrounding the couple from this thread. But I find it troubling when their looks are being nitpicked apart to a degree that is just not appropriate.

This thread has drawn criticism over the years, and I discussed it at great length with Megs and the mods. I am not looking to close it down, but the vitriol needs to be dialed back.

My personal feelings about hate threads aside, this ultra-negative vibe is something better suited for other forums, Reddit, or elsewhere. I am holding our community to higher standards.

But what a lesson to learn from H and M.

What Clarkson wrote was vile, and it should not have been published.

But, Clarkson apologised (privately, via email), and they leaked that fact AND that they didn’t accept the apology.

So if the BRF apologises (I doubt it), you can bet H and M will leak that they got an apology then issue a statement about how all their complaints are validated, and now they want [$, titles, security, oh and the latest one, help out with the Commonwealth !!!].

Their behaviour is to continually move the goal posts by asking for more. Eg apologise? Oh, not accepted, not enough, now they want … [insert outrageous demand]. You cannot satisfy or placate narcs who think they have been wronged.

This is why the BRF strategy is correct. Ignore. Don’t even react.

Clearly it’s driving H and M nuts as the tantrums are getting louder and statements are more outrageous.

My question is how did he grow up to be like this? Growing up royal and being surrounded by people who had the epitome of good manners, caring and thoughtful behavior, how did he turn out to be so boorish?

It's actually quite typically 'Hooray Henry' or toff behaviour, the only difference is they usually grow-up and mature.

As has been posted many times on TPF, these celeb vow renewals are often a signal that the end of the marriage is near though it was pointed out that there were no vows said at this event, just an opportunity for P to wear her wedding dress again. Ellen did look like she was in a hostage situation (blink twice if you need rescuing).

The fact that H&M were there WITHOUT fanfare and "pap" photos--that is very interesting.

They wouldn’t be let in if they tried to bring own cameras/ steal limelight from P&E I imagine.
They know what happened to Eugenie.

Ellen I don’t know when she’s ever not looked like half-arsed: not wanting to be there so I’m not surprised she looks bored. Is there a scrap of sincerity in her body? Who knows.

Mate this comparison is so shady to JLO. Id 100% rather be married to J Lo. I mean you might as well marry a physically attractive psycho. Not to mention she’s actually accomplished in her own right unlike old talons.

LOLOL it's like the guy in China (I think it was China?) who sued his wife because their kids looked like what she looked like pre "dental" work. She'd had so much PS, he didn't realize she was not good looking before. Unfortunately for some, all the plastic surgery in the world can't change your genes!

That’s what I wondered. He may have been so fast and inept that Sasha assumed she must have been his first time.

If it happened in another country that opens up a whole lot more questions. I still hold on to the theory that royals do things differently than regular folks. Rather than letting their boys figure it out on their own, I could see Harry’s father (or grandfather) arranging his first encounter with a, um, professional, to make sure everything goes well and is discreet.
