Prince Harry and Meghan Markle thread

I kindly request that all members participating in the MM and Harry thread dial back the vile rhetoric.

I am not opposed to discussing public personas on TPF, including the constant torrent of news surrounding the couple from this thread. But I find it troubling when their looks are being nitpicked apart to a degree that is just not appropriate.

This thread has drawn criticism over the years, and I discussed it at great length with Megs and the mods. I am not looking to close it down, but the vitriol needs to be dialed back.

My personal feelings about hate threads aside, this ultra-negative vibe is something better suited for other forums, Reddit, or elsewhere. I am holding our community to higher standards.

Thanks for reading.

While it's comical that The Duchess is not part of the party, I'm more concerned about the sexy look that JLo attempted to exhibit in the group picture  It is so weird and her face also looked frozen, more so then PMK.

Anyhow, the more people discuss about Z-list not being invited or pictured at the party, the more her camp is (probably) going to drop crumbs claiming she had other engagement or she had to look after a sick kid, simply to save face. At this point, I think it's safe to conclude that OW is completely distancing herself from them because she finally realized that they are bad for her reputation.

So when is T(oilet)P(aper) going to finally wake the F up and see the two devils for what they are?
Naw. I have two family members who never see their godchildren because they had a fallout with the moms.
Exactly. A celebrity godfather is like having no godfather at all, purely a status statement. Now, maybe Tyler Perry will surprise us and show up someday to give the child some much needed spirituality.

When you "escape" the RF, demand privacy, yet shove your face in front of every camera and continue to troll a woman you want nothing to do with from 5400 miles away, weeeeeeelll, I'd say you got a problem. But lucky for Claw, she can access all the mental health professionals she wants now which she supposedly couldn't do in the U.K.
do we know if she actually did that trolling?

I find it very telling that Hazz addresses every other rumor in his book except the one about the fake pregnancy :amazed:
He did the bridesmaids dresses in depth, that whole thing was just a basic BRIDEZILLA moment, not important in the great, grand , galactic scheme of things, assuming you dont care about getting along with SIL
I think his in depth account of the BIRTH with nitrous was his answer to the bump

An interesting opinion from someone else…

It was no surprise that in the years after his mother’s death, Harry’s behaviour was seen by many to be erratic and that he suffered from anxiety and depression. His misfortune was to have married a woman who, instead of rescuing him from his demons as Kate appears to have done with William, dragged him into her own destructive vortex of anger and narcissism

Harry and Meghan tried to break the monarchy and failed. The King is popular; the Waleses more so. Harry may be a damaged and painful limb of the royal organism but banishing him at the moment his father is crowned would feel as if the monarchy had been amputated…

Whether not Meghan accompanies her husband is a detail. The person who matters here is Harry.

So the King should indeed go to considerable lengths to get his younger son to the Abbey. True, it sticks in the craw that Harry is said to be laying down conditions for his attendance or is being offered other inducements. Some of these, such as where he might sit, seem childish. Others, such as the suggestion that he should be allowed to retain his titles if he attends, have far more serious implications.

So, red lines need to be drawn. The King needs to be careful not to be seen as weakly surrendering to threats. Precisely where those red lines are drawn calls for resolution as well as skill and sensitivity. One hopes his advisers are up to the task.

As for poor Prince William, his own raw feelings must similarly be parked for the occasion. As the royals are trained to do, he must simply suck it up.

Truly a "damned if he does, damned if he doesn't" situation for KC, but she makes a good case for inviting Harold.

This is the kind of event she dreamed of attending regularly, not stuffy dinners with visiting dignitaries from countries she couldn't even find on a map.
This is the ONLY kind of event she dreamed of attending regularly. Of course if she attended, she would expect to be "the corpse at every funeral".
