I think this is the part of the H&M saga that I find so fascinating. I wonder if the two of them have ever taken a step back and examined the timing of the shift in their popularity more closely and taken any ownership of the rapid descent.…
They claim they were so popular when Meghan first entered the RF scene that others in the RF were jealous of the attention they were receiving, so Camilla, Prince (now King) Charles and others launched a smear campaign against them (or, at a minimum, they claim the RF did nothing to stop the press attacks against them). All the while H&M say they were forced to sit idly by in silence.
Yet now that H&M have abandoned their RF duties and are in full control of their story, able to voice every complaint they’ve ever had, their popularity has gone straight down, on both sides of the ocean now.
So, in a nutshell, they felt attacked and stifled when entrenched in the RF, unable to defend themselves, yet since leaving and finally being able to voice their own “defense”, they have actually done more damage to their own reputations than any supposed smear campaign by the RF or the British press ever did. Talk about a self inflicted wound. Ohhhh, the irony.

It’s also funny they ignore the Palace PR are the ones setting up all this positive pr - wedding, designer wardrobe, international tours etc etc.
I mean even in normal families different relatives have their days in the sun. I mean no normal person would walk around their cousin’s wedding saying ‘look at me! I’m much more successful and interesting than her!’ - oh wait that’s exactly what H&M did.

I’ve never got the point of that charity honestly. Britain has loads of charity shops so it’s not exactly difficult to get second hand office wear.
I don’t think what’s hindering the unemployed is not they can’t get a white shirt and suit pants it’s either lack of work or relevant experience or how hard it is to negotiate a job around any chronic health conditions. I’m pretty sure you can interview at a fast food joint in trackies and get the job but if you can’t fit a shift pattern and they have to make allowances for you chances are they will go with someone else and then higher education is a big financial commitment that might not pay off
