I kindly request that all members participating in the MM and Harry thread dial back the vile rhetoric.

I am not opposed to discussing public personas on TPF, including the constant torrent of news surrounding the couple from this thread. But I find it troubling when their looks are being nitpicked apart to a degree that is just not appropriate.

This thread has drawn criticism over the years, and I discussed it at great length with Megs and the mods. I am not looking to close it down, but the vitriol needs to be dialed back.

My personal feelings about hate threads aside, this ultra-negative vibe is something better suited for other forums, Reddit, or elsewhere. I am holding our community to higher standards.

Thanks for reading.

My thoughts exactly. It would have been the logical assumption and everyone would have politely pretended not to have heard it.

It’s not the noise in that visit that bothered me (because it could have been anything off camera too)... It’s that the bump reinflates as she stands up. Start at 0.43 where someone has slowed it down and keep your eyes on her hands/edge of her coat. As she straightens, the bump comes out (normal), but when she is back up straight, the bump literally inflates outwards!

The one thing that made me suspicious is that right after the noise she touched the bump. But also, that belly is awfully high, isn't it. Some people wear their boobs at that height

Most of the time I do think she was pregnant, her bump just wasn’t large enough to suit her. She wanted the world to treat her extra special because she was carrying a royal child. It’s a variant on my child will be the best looking, smartest and bestest child that ever was. She needed that fake bump to support the image.

As far as the weird nose at Mayhew is concerned, if any of those folks heard or noticed it, they probably though it was a pregnant woman passing gas.

 In addition, I think she enjoyed abusing the term "heavily pregnant" to get out of duties (like attending funerals where she knew she'd be snubbed) and to gather even more attention. Wasn't she described as "heavily pregnant" for about six months?

I knew a family who had their own foundation. The mom had been a LAUSD teacher. The dad made a lot of money in business. The mom wanted their foundation to concentrate on donating school supplies to the schools. After she passed away, and the husband was retired, he and his daughter ran the foundation themselves and they were personally purchasing and delivering the supplies to the schools. I have a distinct memory of him saying that they had X amount of dollars they had to use before the end of their fiscal year and since one of them had had some health issues, they were trying to buy the supplies and get them delivered before that date. The point is, that there are REAL people with REAL foundations who want to do good and use the money and do the work. These are alien notions to people who just want the PR and the glory. Partnering is piggybacking and one day soon the charity being piggybacked is going to slip a disk and ask the piggybacker to get off and get lost.
Yes, there are REAL a people who do good , thumb way up
The Harkles just use a charity/ foundation (I can never remember which it is ) to avoid taxes
BUT to make you feel better, they are not exactly getting rich … it takes an army of lawyers and accountants to manage this malarkey, they get to waste Money flying private but the MONEY Is no longer theirs , if there is anything left after the lawyers

Is it time to practice French? Apprécier!

Meghan Markle, Harry et l'argent : le nébuleux charity-business de leur fondation Archewell

(Meghan Markle, Harry and money: the nebulous charity-business of their Archewell foundation)

In the midst of a communication crisis, Meghan Markle and Harry have just published a report on the philanthropic activities of their Archewell foundation, between 2020 and 2022. But the figures they put forward raise eyebrows

... make people think she was further along than she was or to just get more attention if she wasn't showing that much. I think she and Harry are that obsessed with themselves and their .....
BINGO!
I think if she was pregnant with Arkay, this is exactly why she used a fake bump. Attention, because I don’t believe for one second that she would have showed as much as she did, as early as she did.
I do remember though that there was some speculation that she was taking something - Ritalin? - and it was of the ways she kept so slim. I’m not going to speculate on her (illegal) drug habits, but those rumours are out there. I thought someone here in this thread several years ago speculated that the reason for her weight gain around the time of her pregnancy (real or fake) was due to coming off those drugs.
I dunno, just what I remember reading here. Giving one f*ck about her is actually too many, IMO but I find this thread and their lies entertaining, so here I am.

I’m still thinking it was a surrogate both times. I know it is outrageous but ask yourself this, is the deception it would require beyond what Meghan and Harry have already accomplished in other areas? In many ways it was easier because procreation issues are considered private and BP would never dream of addressing it. It was even easier with Invisibet. Out of sight, out of mind.

Maybe I’m wrong and that’s fine. (But I don’t think I am.)
I find it very telling that Hazz addresses every other rumor in his book except the one about the fake pregnancy :amazed:

I don’t believe any media outlet has dared to touch that subject and they won’t. Harry doesn’t need to address it because if he does it’ll bring it to the attention of millions of people who haven’t heard it yet.

No question, it is certainly strange. Some have said it's just an illusion. We have members here with expertise in many areas, but so far no one in the field of obstetrics has been able to help us solve the mystery of the moon bump.
