I kindly request that all members participating in the MM and Harry thread dial back the vile rhetoric.

I am not opposed to discussing public personas on TPF, including the constant torrent of news surrounding the couple from this thread. But I find it troubling when their looks are being nitpicked apart to a degree that is just not appropriate.

This thread has drawn criticism over the years, and I discussed it at great length with Megs and the mods. I am not looking to close it down, but the vitriol needs to be dialed back.

My personal feelings about hate threads aside, this ultra-negative vibe is something better suited for other forums, Reddit, or elsewhere. I am holding our community to higher standards.

Not sure if the man (or men) she hugged at this engagement (visit to a mosque) were all Muslims. In Islam, if a man and a woman are not mahram, they cannot touch each other what more hug each other. However, in the world of royals, presidents, prime ministers etc, the Muslim counterparts would probably shake hands with their non-Muslim distinguished female guests out of courtesy. A hug however is going too far (which we know the hugs were probably initiated by Z-list since she's such a hugger and Kate's not. Besides her confession on the mockumentary, she also went in for a hug at an event when the lady was trying to curtsy to her.). At this pictured engagement, if the hugs between the Muslim men were with Harry, that's fine because they are of the same gender.

Well that says more about them. I may not believe in the teachings of other‘s faiths but I still believe in showing respect - especially in a place of worship! And don’t get me started on her way of wearing the headscarf

I am fairly certain Oprah never visited Nottingham Cottage. Didn’t Meghan once claim she had lunch with Michelle ***** and it turned out it was merely a phone call that may have been around lunchtime?

Perhaps Meghan gave her description of Nottingham Cottage to Oprah and she was shocked by that.

I don't really want Harry there. He's just a silly distraction. But, KC3 looks magnanimous by inviting him. It also says your petty little book hasn't bothered us at all; we're carrying on as usual. Bonus points for making Harry look like a complete hypocrite if he does go.

OW wanted badly an interview with TW, so having tea in Nott Cott, as they claimed to have had, must have been quite appealing to her. She even invited TW's mother over to her Montecito home (allegedly).

MO probably wanted to keep some distance from TW early on in their relationship, which turned out to be a wise decision.
