Sophie is delightful. She has an inner beauty and kindness that shines through, much like Catherine. I hope King Charles appreciates her, as she is an asset. We’ve seen in this family how badly things go when the men choose wrong.

Sophie and Edward are wonderful assets. Sophie represents the family with so much warmth, class, and dignity. They’re lucky to have her!

I hope this means Sophie gets to pick a new tiara for herself for the Coronation... I mean, as much as I love the Aquamarine necklace tiara (the one with the big stone), the Duchess of Edinburgh needs something nicer than these:

I wish there was some unseen tiara in the vaults with thistles on it or something. That would be appropriate since she is the Duchess of Edinburgh. Something like these but a better design:

The George IV Diadem does have thistles in it but that's out of the question of course:

Maybe so but Sophie is one of the few working royals who actually needs one for official occasions.

On the Order of Succession, the only ones working at the moment (with a realistic chance of attending state dinners for example) are numbers 1, 13, 16 and their spouses. Or if you go further, in some capacity numbers 30, 40, 51 and 56.

Incidentally, it's only for his lifetime, it won't be passed to James, the now Earl of Wessex.
