Although Prince Edward is the youngest brother I think he hasn't aged at all well, he's not even 60....

I think he may be unwell. He’s lost a lot of weight recently. I hope not.

Thank you - I have tears rolling down my cheeks now sitting here stroking her -she is hooked up to so much machinery yet looks so tiny frail and vulnerable my heart is breaking - all day I’ve thought of us sitting listening to Elvis gospel songs in thr little chapel in Tupelo at his birthplace - she didn’t want to leave it - she is sleeping at long last today it’s been a bad last 36 hours

It’s strange - until Phillip retired at 95 we rarely saw Edward -he and Sophie really stepped up then and more so when Philip died and again when it became apparent the Queen was gravely ill in her last year- H&M haven’t been missed at all and this pair have more class and royal bearing than the latter could ever acquire in a lifetime
