Gossip!! Edward has an 8 day gap on the forthcoming royal appearances so what? He is entitled to a few days at home after an overseas trip surely and is approaching his 60th birthday maybe an early private few days for that- he looked in great health on his trip more relaxed and informal than we usually see him / how appalling that the gutter press are trying to make another royal health story out of nothingThis is concerning.

Yes, to all you said. It seems kind of strange to say this about a 60 year old man, but I think Edward has “blossomed “ in his role as Duke of Edinburgh. He is definitely more active, and I agree with you wholeheartedly, he is more at ease with crowds, even showing a sense of humor.
He and Sophie are a lovely couple, The RF is fortunate they have stepped so graciously into a more prominent role. I wish they received more public recognition for all they are doing.
And Louise seems a perfect addition should she choose the life - she is so like her parents in character and so more suited to a public royal life of service than Zara Peter Beatrice or Eugenie

Completely agree - Zara especially seems to be enjoying her casual, non royal, fun loving life. This isn't a put-down. She just doesn't seem suited, that's all.
