Price will go up after 1 Jan 2014?!

I am actually quite mad at Hermes. I ordered a RG CDC ring back in June 2013, because of the larger size that I needed, they have to special ordered it.

Long story short, I was told that they located one for me in japan. A couple of months later, the ring didn't pass the quality test, so now they have to special ordered it.

I have fully paid the ring, with no ETA (even to this day), and was told that if it comes in after the price increase (most likely it will), I would have to pay the difference. Do you think it's fair?

No, it doesn't seem fair at all! But then, I think that if you SO a bag, you should pay the price of the bag when you order it, not the price it has increased to when it finally comes in a year or two (or more) later!

The thing is, you paid for your ring. The fact that the item has been paid for, in full, should mean you owe H NOTHING when it comes in. I would argue this, actually, if I were you.

Bought a mousseline shawl from Wall Street today and paid the new price=915 (vs old price of 890). Strangely, mousselines on H.com are still listed at the old price. ?

I know...came as a bit of a shock, as with state sales tax and messenger fee, total cost was just about 1K. For an enchantingly beautiful yet wispy square of silk chiffon, this price may be too rich for my blood from here on in.

Wow, great! I may have to visit my boutique this weekend for more 90s. It seems as though many people were buying especially 90s ahead of the price increase, and the selection on Hermes.com has practically been stripped bare!

i always wanted the croc cdc but now I have to pay EVEN more for the the two croc cdc order i placed with her~~

the new price on leather CDCs is 1275.00 usd. There were several on the website today at the new price.

VigeeLeBrun, no I don't. I asked that question and the SA said the ring was special ordered just for me, so I can't cancel.

They also said that they can not get any status on the ring, and they have absolutely no idea when it will come in. It might be a month or 6 months, or longer. This is beyond frustrating. I was told by my SA originally that it would be 2-3 months only.

I was also told that this is how it is with Hermes.
