EEEKK!!
I'm happy to hear this too! And gives us some time to pick up SS2014 scarves. Thanks AngryPanda for the intel.

Wow, great! I may have to visit my boutique this weekend for more 90s. It seems as though many people were buying especially 90s ahead of the price increase, and the selection on Hermes.com has practically been stripped bare!

wow! what a substantial increase. previously a gator was $1,950 and leather was $1,150 :faint:

So am I safe to assume that the price increase that took place in Europe was on everything (all at once, as opposed to different categories being staggered over time for an increase)? Specifically, 90 cm silks, maxi twilllies, and a Kelly, either in London or FSH? Thanks so much for any info--I'm guessing it will be too late anyway by the time I arrive next month.:nogood:

the new price on leather CDCs is 1275.00 usd. There were several on the website today at the new price.

I am actually quite mad at Hermes. I ordered a RG CDC ring back in June 2013, because of the larger size that I needed, they have to special ordered it.

Long story short, I was told that they located one for me in japan. A couple of months later, the ring didn't pass the quality test, so now they have to special ordered it.

I have fully paid the ring, with no ETA (even to this day), and was told that if it comes in after the price increase (most likely it will), I would have to pay the difference. Do you think it's fair?

I agree with you that this is unfair! H is the one delaying your purchase and you already paid in full.

I don't think I would be as mad if I didn't pay in full 7 months ago. The fact that I did pay in full, I shouldn't pay the difference even if there is a price increase.

I'd special-ordered two silver necklaces before and was told the prices before I finalized the order...and no pre-payment. My SA called me when each came in and both were priced as stated on the original order. I don't think they are allowed to take money first for something not yet made? Just like the special order bags.

But again with Hermes, rules are interpreted across a wide range of understanding at different stores I guess.
