Yes TT - Chanel price increases are crazy. In general, I think the accessories at Chanel are a bit less expensive than H but less well made and more trendy. So in the end, I'll just stick with H.

100% agreed, I only buy vintage Chanel accessories, the new stuff can be appalling

Me too! Although I have to EXTRA EXTRA CAREFUL now not to badly scratch or damage the ones I have! From now on, I am totally babying all my stuff. Can't afford to replace it!

:laugh: I'm in the same boat! I keep looking at my silk I'm wearing today to ensure there are no stains, etc. Sigh.

Me too! In a way I'd love to be more cavalier with my things, but I tend to baby everything I love! Want them to last forever! ;)

do the H clics will also increase on the 14th in US?
i'm desperately trying to search for XL clic H on rosewood or poudre GHW before the price increase but no such luck yet :crybaby:

UPDATE: oh nevermind, i just checked the H website and the prices for H clics, enamels and leather bracelets already went up. oh well...

I wish I had been. I was not careful with my first orange clic clac and as a result, the gold is pretty badly scratched. I also don't want to hand it over to be polished by H because they told me it would probably take 3-4months. I might try to bring it to my local jeweler and see if they can buff out some of the deeper scratches. I'm not sure if that would totally ruin the gold enamel though. Has anyone tried this?

The enamel price increases are insane! I managed to snag a shawl and should of got the enamels instead!

I do not think I will be collecting many now.
They were already overpriced. :(

Exactly my thoughts! I'm in Tokyo now and I have been buying bracelets silks and twilly everyday as it's so much cheaper with the exchange rate and no price increae yet....
