Price Increase 2/1?

just wanted to mention that it was confirmed to me this morning that the Lindy in Australia has decreased in price ~ not sure about the rest but will update as i find out more!!

I am bummed about the large increase on the pocket square I am planning a trip to the SF store in a week or so. I have my eye on a few things including the Mademoiselle Soie pocket square, but that is a larger increase than I expected. Sheesh, how much is too much???

same here! that is an insnely HUGE price increase! i was planning to get a couple of pocket squares for my sister's b-day and they jack it up by 27% whereas the the 90cm square only went up $10. how can they justify such a huge hike?

called manhasset yesterday to inquire about the lindy 30. the SA there confirmed prices would go up today in that store but she had no idea what the new price would be.

anyone know what the Lindy 30 has increased to? TIA!

I bought mine on 1/25 from the BH boutique and it was $6000 before tax. My SA there said prices were going up 2/1.

I'm another one that won't be buying something I intended to buy. I had gotten an email from my SA back in December with the Cosmos scarf ring. I had every intention of buying one after things settled down a bit when I was told it was $150 (and had been that price on H.com). I had a look yesterday and it's now $165. Sorry but a 10% price increase plus 8.25% sales tax makes that little scarf ring ridiculous! I also noticed the increase in the silks: $165 for a pocket square??? My first one was $115 and that was only 4 years ago.

No justifying that at all. I'll just stick with the Evilbay and the secondary market. When I can purchase glorious like new 90cm scarves for under $200??....noooo contest.

well, not to date myself, but I remember when silk twill scarves were 250, pochettes 80, GM c/s 650, GM mous 525 and I paid 95 for Cosmos scarf ring (big version)- and all at a time when quality arguably was superior. The good ol' days (I also paid 4400 for me BJ 35cm birkin and 4000 for my black box 32cm kelly).

Which means that today, the price of birkin has MORE THAN DOUBLE what u paid last time
With the same quality (if not better leather)
I wish I started buying Bs and Ks waaaayyyyy earlier!
