It’s the smell of oil-tanned leather. I personally love the smell, and I’ve had my Mini Crossbodies for awhile, and the smell has not diminished. I think it’s the smooth (easily scratched) that is worse.

Thanks for the quick reply! I don’t mind the scent. It’s the strength of it. It is just overpowering. Maybe it’s the batch it came from. The bag is adorable and the workmanship is terrific. I hope I can get it to work. Thanks again!

I had that with a bag but it is slowly going away. Which bag smelled bad?

It’s the green smooth leather. I emailed the company. They said all the bags smell because of the way they’re tanned which is understandable. They also said some batches are worse than others. I just have got one of the “worse” batches. LOL!

Yesterday ,I received the most wonderful gift ever from a friend and fellow TPFer . I received a slew of beautiful purse scarfs an amazingly gorgeous strap and the cutest hand sanitizer . So soon my bags will be doing modeling shots as I get try them on my various bags. I wish I didn't have to prepare the house for christmas eve or I would be playing with them right now.

CEE85D9D-7D0D-4EDD-AE5F-79DE52E61CFE.jpegI am having fun figuring out which of these adorable scarfs to put on which bag. They are a real pick me up. I think the center bag can wear either of these two. Not going anywhere to day so just playing around for now. Before this year I was never into purse decorations but my friend does it so beautifully that I have changed my mind. I received the best bag accessories for Christmas so I will have lots of fun when time allows.
