I am prepping to purchase a Raindrop - can’t decide on a color, though. I want the Classic, and the colors I want are only available if I go the Almost Perfect route… decisions, decisions.

I had purchased the raindrop in smooth sunflower with open top. Honestly I extremely disliked it, it looked very misshapen, BUT my friend loved it. IMO If I were to purchase another I would get a pebbled leather color with the zipper closure. The bag needed to be softened up and the zipper closure could add needed structure. Like all PL bags a change of the crossbody strap would work wonders. Hope this helps and you are well.

Thank you, this is great advice/review. I'm hesitant on PLG, I've had numerous mini crossbody totes but end up donating them to Goodwill.

I think I just need to relax. I've got enough bags!!! I also have a Montana craftslady (Beargrass Leather) who makes my size of bag, called the "Zoe", conveniently named after my dog.

Happy to help. The only PLG mini I like is the smooth black but the BV Quetsche strap makes the bag.

I have been looking for mini and small backpacks at a reasonable price .... Something I can take for hikes or to the beach without worrying about it. So, I picked up a couple Portland backpacks. The bucket bag is very comfortable on my shoulders, even when I stuffed a bunch of things in it and went on a hike.

I never thought I would go for this Baja color but it was all that was left in the store, 45% off and I needed a backpack that day. I don't have anything in my collection close to this color. So I went for it. I think it's fun.

After my trip, I ordered the plum online. In real life it practically looks dark brown to me. My phone is playing up the purple but it doesn't really look like this. Even though it's so dark and not quite what I expected, it's still a nice neutral color.

I also picked up a nutmeg mini snap backpack at the store for my little nephew. Honestly this little backpack is extremely lightweight and comfortable and fits a surprising amount of stuff. So, I'm going to get one for myself too. Haha. I think it looks good on adults in addition to children. Only complaint is that the nutmeg scratches like crazy. But you can easily buff it out. I just dabbed a bit of water on my thumb and rubbed at them, then they were gone. The Baja and Plum leathers don't seem to have the same scratching issue, so I'm not sure what is up with nutmeg.
