I like the look on the rogue with the brass a lot,
My suede rogue's chain broke (when i tried to tighten it) coach sent me the really thin replacement. I was able to stack the 1941 lozenge onto the the same leather piece the key ring is on so it looks a little different but it works.

I do this too. It's unobtrusive and it's really tough stuff. I started using it on the little book charms that came on the Snoopy bags because good luck finding one of those if they come off.

Late to this party but I don't think it looks junky at all - I like it! Because you have the starfish charm, the different sized chains made me think of gold jellyfish tentacles (in a good way! [emoji846]) I'm mentally adding your angel fish for a complete sea theme.
