A very good point! My mom is questioning me on why I bought a taupe AND a chalk bag when the colors are identical to her. I owned both colors from Polene in real life before I ordered more, so I wasn't worried, but I see how Polene colors might be more pale or washed out than in their product photos.
Do you happen to have the Neuf in Taupe and Chalk? I am looking for pictures of them side by side, but cant quite find any :amuse:

Honestly, if you like the textured leather because as you say it is easy & durable, I would go with
the Un Mini.
I happen to have the regular size Neuf in Chalk & Taupe. The colors are diversified enough that
I don't mind have the same bag in 2 colors & I actually prefer the pebble leather over the textured
leather.
I also like that the Polene brand stamp on the Neuf is discreetly placed on the side of the bag
not front & center..
I can't imagine what you would think with the several Kelly bags I own in sizes 32/35 in
multiple colors & exotic skins.. LOL
Do you happen to have pictures of your neuf in chalk and taupe side by side? I can’t decide which color to choose.

Did you get charged any customs fee? I am really wary about international shipping but there’s something I would like to purchase from Australia.
As far as I have been able to work out, if you spend under $1000 AUD the GST is included and you don’t pay anymore. But if you buy two bags together and the total is more than $1000 AUD (and you need to include shipping in that total, not just the price of the bags) you will get charged 15% duty plus the handling fee that comes with.

I purchased 5 bags when they had free shipping, as individual orders. I did not pay anything additional. However, I was going to but two bags together and then on the checkout page it said somewhere, and it wasn’t obvious, that I might be liable for taxes and duties, whereas it did not say that when my total was under $1000.

Hope that helps.

Hi!
Just a question. Is the a Polène number 1 too heavy??
I have the nano and it is fine, but When I saw that it was 1,7kg I was surprised. I have seen some reviews saying that it is not so heavy, so I would really like to know your opinion from those of you who have been using it for some time. Thanks!!

I do not find my Number 1 heavy at all,- unless I fill her with heavy stuff ;)
Surprised that she could be 1.7 kg, I just weighed her on my luggage scales...
My Number 1 "Trio Burgundy Crocolile" weighs 1.05 kg

I’m so sorry. I’m embarrassed. I messed up my reply. I just wanted to say that your bag is lovely! Do you find that it fits your essentials?

Haha don’t worry. I’ve been struggling with posting on the forum a lot lately, don’t know why.

I find it the perfect size for my essentials actually. Today I carried: card case, iPhone, small pouch, sunglasses (in soft case), chapstick, lip gloss, and keys.
