I know, right. If they were less expensive, I would probably do that but not at almost $500 each.

What do you think you will use more then? Neuf doesn't have a zipper, but Dix doesn't have a top handle. I don't know what's the difference in capacity but that also depends on how much you carry.

I’ve been waiting for a while for Polene to offer the Umi in beige, but I finally gave up on this out-of-stock color and ordered it in chalk just now, inspired by @ann23 who has that exact bag and modeled it so well, and also by @WillWordForBags who loves chalk! It will be my first chalk Polene!

I made an order in December for delivery in February and it came second week of January. But there's no guarantee.
I like it very much! It fits everything I need everyday and it's a very comfortable crossbody. I use it while traveling and it seems very secure. The grained leather is also quite sturdy, I have no issues carrying it on trains etc.

For what it’s worth, in the short duration I had the mini Neuf in chalk before I returned it, the grained leather felt durable and easy to maintain and I don’t see it getting dirty that easily actually.

I’ve had my Chalk mini Neuf for almost 6 months now, it’s been my daily bag for most of that time and so far so good for my handle! No staining or discoloration

Oh, wow. I just saw a video of the Dix in cognac. I’m in love.
That bag in that color with the contrast stitching is perfection.
I’m going to have to get this bag too, somehow.

Why did you return your Neuf Mini in Chalk?

There was peeling around the stitches of the handle. I exchanged the bag and the second also had similar issues so I gave up for a refund. Lost out on taxes though, the amount of paperwork to go through to get a tax refund is a little painful.

I’m so sorry that happened.
It’s a shame because the bag is stunning, but they’re going to have to improve their quality if they want us to keep buying their products.

Hello all! Does anyone know if sandalwood is a seasonal color? I really want the huit in camel for summer, but I am worried I’d miss out on the neuf in sandalwood. By the way, I love Polene and bought my one and only (a Numero Un in pink) in 2018. I enjoy carrying it every but as much as my more expensive bags. It was worn so well.
