Thanks so much Papertiger, I know the lady who owns it so she's always been honest she didn't remember when she bought it but thought 2006. Can't seem to find any other info online.

SS 2006 is a good guess as there were striped T-shirts on the catwalk, although these bags were not catwalk pieces. SS 2007 also might fit, the colour were very very similar

I would love to know if this is an actual Gucci style and, if so, its approximate age. This is purely for my edification, the bag is not available, just really curious about it. It does not look like anything I have seen by them, but my experience is limited. At the time of sale, it was listed as a Gucci doctor style bag.TYIA

Can't remember what it's called but it came from AW 2002 catwalk (I remember cos bought a fur jacket and a pair of satin trous and there was no more money for bags :laugh:)

Hi all,
I live on the Chanel board but knew you ladies would be able to help. Can you please identify this Gucci for me? I think I bought it some time between 2002 and 2005 (before I found a permanent home with Chanel :p ). I'm hoping that by attaching a photo of the tag with the purse it might give you some useful hints.

I have a very similar bag (in red suede) but I can't remember what it's called. It's from the mid-00s though.

I don't know if everyone sees the sme bag on the front page but I was wondering about the burgundy one with the bit piece looks like one handle maybe like a doctor satchel. Anyway I was wondering about it. I know nothing about Gucci but follow Wertheimer's race horses religiously. Lol
