I love my K28 (in Rubis). It's definitely a pop, but not overly bright!
Also, here’s one in the shade. It’s quite muted.
Wear them with anything except green! That would look a little too "holiday" in my opinion.

My two cents: I have a rouge grenat B30 in Epsom, so not the same leather as you are considering, but I find it to be a really versatile colour and use it as a neutral with my largely navy/black wardrobe.
I do find however that I get more compliments for the B than when I wear my vert cypress K, which I suspect is entirely due to the red being a more eye-catching colour.

My red Hermes bag is in Rouge H so very easy to match, not bright. I do however have a bright pink Hermes, and a red non-Hermes bag. For those I usually style in one of two ways:
- light, summery outfit (think white, cream, cappuccino sorts of colors), the bag, and a bright accessory(ies). If it’s a scarf just the scarf, if it’s jewelry then a few pieces.
- super casual darker colors, think jeans, grey tshirt, big baggy plaid blazer, and the bag is a pop of color
I’ve seen some amazing maximalist looks with red bags, but I myself don’t prefer it, I like some contrast and a streamlined look.

Here is my rouge grenat b30. It is beautiful and has such depth of color. I appreciate it even more now that I have a lot of neutral bags.
