Thanks for the quick response! Any clue if this is a rare/difficult bag to receive?
Very welcome! Availability will depend on what your SM has ordered for your boutique, but I believe this was PO instead of Push, so it may be a bit easier to be allotted this item than one might imagine.;)

Edited: Completely forgot to mention that I have seen these on the Hermès website as well, so you might be able to find one on there too (depending on your region)!

What leather does this look like to you? Seller is saying Ardennes, but I’m not so sure? The graining seems too fine to be Ardennes. Maybe evergrain? Bag is from 1981 if that helps. Did they even have evergrain back then?

Might you be able to share two more pictures: one of the entire front (or back) of the bag and one of the lining. Thank you! :flowers: It seems like an old variation of Clémence grain. Certainly not Ardennes or Evergrain.

Here you go. Clemence didn’t come to mind because the bag is barely slouching and has a pretty strong sheen to it. I’m stumped but this can’t be Ardennes?

Thank you! While these Romy Kellys often came in Ardennes, the first picture you shared— the one showing the gold foil stamp and the tourette— cannot be Ardennes leather. It looks more like Gulliver than anything, but it can’t be Gulliver based on the other pictures you shared. The lining and corner picture look like Clémence or Ardennes to me. The picture of the back of the bag is not clear enough* for me to make out the leather grain. Really, I don’t even think all the pictures show the same bag, but the majority seem to show Clémence or Ardennes.

If you plan to purchase this bag, I would highly recommend asking the seller to confirm that the pictures are all of the same bag.

*If the seller has any clearer pictures of the body of the bag, I’d be glad to take another look.
