I've cross-posted this in another thread - latest purchase. This Victoria Elan is new to me - the reseller listed it as rouge casaque. I thought it is a bit too dark for an RC. Can someone help? I'm just super curious. An aside - if only it is Rouge Tomate - then I have mustard and ketchup combo here!

“Mustard and Ketchup combo” Do you know the production year for this item? That and a clear, close picture of the stitching would be very helpful.

I spent last night squinting away trying to see the year stamp - I will try again later! I know for my moutarde VE it was 2012 stamp - I bought this five years ago and it was listed as soleil but was later confirmed to be moutarde. I have this sneaky feeling that this could be Rouge Garance, but I could be wrong! Will take a photo of the stitching as well! Love having this "mystery" to solve (see my soleil - moutarde case - also another vintage bag that I thought was ebene but turned out to be marron fonce). But thank you for your comments - will post again later!

I agree with Moutarde for the 2012 bag— Moutarde was reintroduced that year after all. For the red bag, I did think Rouge Garance for a second, though I would expect more orange tones if that were the case. Nonetheless, the date and the stitching will certainly speak. I so enjoy these Hermès mysteries!

OK, this bag is also 2012. And I took some photos. I can't really decide. What do you think?

Thank you for the extra pictures and date info! The colour is Rouge Casaque. :flowers:

Part of the joys of TPF is that I get to sit here and observe the experts like @r luvs h at work - when I grow up, I want to be so fluent in H that the pictures of the STITCHING tells me a story.

I came across this barenia/crinoline shoulder bag on a reseller site and wondered what it was. It has a K stamp.

I believe this is the Paddock bag. If I recall correctly, there were maybe two or three variations of this bag— all with Barenia and Crinoline de Cheval. All the ones I have seen were from 2007.
