Can someone tell me what leather and size this bag is? I’m guessing either a box calf or a barenia but it seems to slouchy to be a box calf but then again it is old

That’s a size 40 (she tagged it herself as such on her Instagram) but the video is just not clear / close up enough for me be confident about the leather…as in, maybe it’s just my bad eyesight but I can’t actually tell for certain if that’s smooth or grained (which would obviously change my guess) :sweatdrop: either way it’s very lovely to see a well used bag! Given she said she got it in 1985, Box (not Barenia) if smooth and Ardennes if grained would be my guess.

It’s smooth not grained. You don’t think it could be a barenia? I’m looking to buy either or but I don’t want the structured looks so I figured barenia would be more relaxed and slouchy

I agree with @momoc re: size. Given the year and general appearance of the bag, this is Box Calf. Box Calf can become slouchier with time, this is especially true of a retourne, workhorse bag like Evangelista's.
