Plastic protector on hardware

I don't judge...Everyone should enjoy their bag the way they want to enjoy and use. I always believe if I see something I don't like, just look the other way..simple.

some bags right away..others when I remember, no big deal.

My SA took the plastics off my bag before packing. He said the hardware is oxidized overtime and the ones underneath the plastic won't oxidize causing different shades on the hardware. Some people can't see the difference, but it can be more noticeable in the geographical areas with severe weather conditions.

I left the foot protectors on till they fell off and I still have the plastic on the inside plate of my Kelly flap as I thought it might prevent scratching on the other hardware but the rest is all gone.

There's a thread of the damage the plastic can cause but that's limited to tropical climates I believe.
