I have same issue. Without changing the posts, what I usually do when wearing thicker posts is putting a bit almond oil on the posts, then they can easily slide through

Hi Nicole! Did they change out the entire post and solder on thinner ones or did they file down the existing posts? Do the thinner posts accommodate the original la pousette backings that come with the studs? I just got a pair of sweet studs but the posts definitely feel thick and hurt my ears a little so I’m thinking about having them changed to thinner posts.

I am not sure. I just sent them in and asked for longer and thinner posts, they look the same but with thinner posts and new hallmarks on the posts of course.

I didn’t hang onto the backs, but I have other sweets and the backs are all the same. I think it took a couple of weeks. This was about a year ago, so I’m a little fuzzy on the details.

Thanks! Are the thinner posts also longer? Are they a lot longer than the original ones? The length of the original posts are fine for me, it’s just the thickness that makes them a bit uncomfortable and make my piercings sore.

They are minimally longer, I don’t notice a big difference.

Ooh interesting! I lost one of the la pousette backs and all the ones in the boutique were too loose – they were also bigger in size. They had to send back to the workshop for a match. (I'd swapped out for thinner platinum posts on the mini frivole).
