Here's a pic of Pourpre in an RH Pompon (photo from Bill of BalNY). Think the colour's a little washed out from the store lighting.

i finally found the rh pourpre pompon pic, thanks for sharing michk, and oddly, i like the noix one more. this one doesn't look as nice. maybe it's just the washed out pourpre color.

I don't like this one, either... it just looks so blah... and the leather looks really stiff. Maybe it'll look better IRL? I think the Bal store lighting washes out all their bags.

i saw a pourpre gsh pt at the printemps this morning and the leather looks pretty stiff and blah like this one. but the pompon with covered hardware had a more saturated beautiful pourpre color. i m not a big fan of perforated leather and covered hw but the leather definitely looked better than the rh pic. but i agree that bal store lighting is pretty bad. my pt rh sanguine looked more faded in the shop than it is at home or outside under natural light.

had some difficulties with resizing all my images, so for now I'll just start by posting one photo...

I just bought the bag from Balenciaga, Avenue George V, Paris a couple of weeks ago. I initially wanted the Officier, but when I asked for a First bag, the SA just smiled and pulled out 17 different colored First bags. (I was quite impressed). There was no Officier, but the Pourpre stood out and immediately caught my attention, and I could not be happier with my choice.

Congrats Beemy! Niceeeee! the red is more gorgeous than I had thought it to be! and I love the way the leather crawls around the red.

I got myself a Pourpre First as well as my first Bbag(okay, i have went on and on about it on another thread so i shall cut you guys' misery here), and I can't wait for it to reach me...

Gonna let the countdown begin... and I shall be biting on my nails till then.
